You've seen the big names in the Collegiate Starleague: Ostojiy, KawaiiRice, Suppy. But what about the lesser known players? The Eifers of the league, who always go to MLGs and preform well, yet don't get much notice? They may not have gotten as much attention as the All-Stars of the CSL, but they are silently producing the results, waiting for their turn in the spotlight.
On the other end of the spectrum we have the rising stars of the North American scene, so young yet already so talented. Although not as recognized as players such as IdrA or Sheth, they have still shown their skill in various leagues, be it MLG or ESEA. These players also compete for the pride of their school in the High School Starleague, the high school division of the CSL. They are ready to show that they are the future of North American Starcraft.
These two groups will meet in a bo9 slugfest to prove their worth and show us why they are the future of Starcraft 2.This is their time to shine.Join us Monday, July 30th at 5pm PST for the Colleagiate Starleague vs High School Starleague showmatchCasted by ![[image loading]](https://twimg0-a.akamaihd.net/profile_images/2309932186/mgsth3da1ddo1g9m0d78_reasonably_small.jpeg) imjorman and cynikoSC

About the CSL: The Collegiate Starleague is the premiere collegiate gaming league, with over 300 universities participating this year. The CSL is sponsored by Twitch.tv and Raidcall! In addition to the league, we run contests, tournaments, and work with universities to host and promote LAN events across North America. check out www.cstarleague.com for more info!
About the HSL: The High School Starleague is a competitive StarCraft 2 league dedicated to the next generation of gamers: high school students. HSL presents a friendly but competitive team league environment in order to bring schools and players together, encourage fierce rivalries, and establish StarCraft alongside the likes of football or soccer as a varsity eSport.
This year, HSL has teamed up with CSL to bring the best of eSports to all North American high schools. Our dream is for players to be able to transition from high school StarCraft to collegiate StarCraft - and then from there to professional gaming and professional success. We strongly believe that StarCraft and academic success can go hand in hand. HSL is proof that SC2 players can be intelligent, competitive, and fierce both in school and on Battle Net.
Join us for the next generation of eSports.

- Hey, aren't Sanddbox and Pyre on that Infinity Seven team that won ESEA undefeated? -- Yeah, I think they were, I remember Sanddbox beating Sleep in a very tight series last season! - No kidding! They're both very handsome and incredibly talented as players! -- Well, they're no Axslav, but yeah! Agreed, we have so much in common! - It's as if we think alike and speak in the same kind of tone or mannerism -- Their player-manager sure likes to strut his stuff publicly! - What a dick HSL by a mile, I'm confident about SnixSnipe and Dime, but Pyre, Sanddbox are beyond good and Xenocider and Pokebunny aren't exactly players you can steal wins against.
YEAH HSL!!!! TIME TO SHOW WHAT MA BOYS ARE MADE OF <3 <3 <3
Strong lineups from both sides, will be close I think. CSL fighting!
Unfortunately travelling in Asia else I'd love to play against Dime who shows up at our LAN's often Gl to both sides involved but clearly HSL is going to win If not I'll be sad I didn't get to play
CSL got this fighting!!!!!!!!!
I'm in Korea too x.x as I said I will try to play but can't promise, so I would try to find an extra player x.x

No, we're not. The CSL roster was specifically picked to not have any players currently on a pro team. No KawaiiRice, Ostojiy, qxc, Suppy, you etc. This is meant to showcase the lesser known players of the CSL that still have shown results in various competitions

Not that I mind, but plenty of the HSL team are on "pro teams" as well. Nick is on GoSu, which apparently doesn't allow their CSL counterparts to participate lol

The point is to let players who are only slightly known to showcase their talents. When you do things like making WCS national 2nd place or all-kill incredible miracle, you are already on the map.

As stated before, the CSL roster was specifically chosen to not have any player currently on a pro team. HSL roster does not have that restriction. To be on either roster you need to have been actively playing in either league before as well, and you haven't been in either one yet Hawk
