Unfortunately for you, DOTA takes it to the next level with creep denials ( last hitting your own creep to prevent the opponent from getting it ) | ||

Tinkers typcially buy Boots of travel which let you teleport to anywhere on the map. Using their rearm skill they can bounce around to almost anywhere on the map very quickly since it resets cooldown | ||

It does ( it's one of the key mechanic from the dota like game ) But dota has "deny" too, where you can kill your own creep to deny the last hit from the ennemy. ( so they don't get gold ) | ||

I was simplifying it, Tinker has boots(item you buy which makes you move faster) which contain a teleport on them anyway, 99% of heroes pick them up in late game however because they cost so much Tinker is the only Hero to buy them consistently | ||
