Anyways, awesome casting, brilliant host, great games. Had a good viewing experience, only thing I didn't like was extended series. Oh well. Good times.
This tournament didn't have extended series. 2 Bo3s in the grand final isn't the same thing at all.

Yeah, he's saying what a lot of people are thinking, but he does it quite unprofessionally. Then again, there's a lot that can be said about the # of seeds for different countries in this tournament.
Sorry, who is thinking what Nani just said? You say a lot of people, I haven't seen a single person present a semi-decent argument supporting what he said haha. As many people have pointed out, if you wanted a fair representation, there would be 95% koreans. That's not what the WCS is about.
heh, anyone who actually CAN think would know what Naniwa said was ridiculous. Unless you want to give Korea 30 spots and the rest of the world 2 for the WCS (which would be the 'fair' representation).
Look at the number of slots. Germany gets 4, Sweden gets 3, same as the UK. Now anyone who knows anything about SC2 pro scene has to understand, why that is weird and why especially Swedish players are angry about this.
You forgot to write down your argument.
Trouble with that arguement is U.K. should then get 0 spots germany 1 sweden 1 ukraine 1 USA 1 and korea all the other spots.
Indeed, and thats generous to the non-korean nations. A big part of this is to help kickstart the weaker countries pro scenes and grow the game/esport, not to kill them to make the stronger ones stronger still. And its doing a great job, near 27k people watching at one point when we've been told the UK scenes dead.
Pathetic display from DeMusliM and BlinG. They should be ashamed of being in pro teams.
JonnyREcco and Ziktomini may be good players but they aren't the only good but unknown players in EU (despite what some overly patriotic Brits may think) and while I appreciate a good underdog story like everyone else, only one of them should have been able to qualify - and none if you consider that UK should only have 2 seed maximum.

Blizzard also probably look at potential growth, the game is a lot more popular in Ukraine based on total number of players alone, not to mention precentage-wise, and considering the UK has a population larger by 20%, there's simply a lot more to be gained by investing in UK.

The argument is so blindingly obvious, that I can't believe you're actually asking me to spell it out for you.
You can easily fill all the spots in Sweden with players, that are known and we actually know, they can go toe to toe with the best in the world.
Before the UK nationals, you would be hard pressed to even name three UK guys and then there's the question, if they would be even able to hold their own against the rest of the players.
Which I'd love to see, don't get me wrong, but I'd rather give somebody a chance in the big leagues after they show us a little bit more.

JRecco was supposed to go to DH but couldn't make it. So Ziktomini went instead and beat players like Stephano and Bly.
The fact that there are not more spots for Swedish players despite them being the best outside of Korea is pretty cool considering that it is based on how many people play in the country. Just means that Swedes have more talent than they should have.
