6,000 $ for Ziktomini, not bad for someone who hasn't had any big results yet.

Congrats to him! Nice to see some lesser known players outperforming the famous ones.

Guys, was it 25k viewers at peak?
Everything lined up perfectly for this nationals: players + games + casters + host + AUDIENCE!
Good job UK, was a nice weekend!

Also, thank you Blizzard for WCS! And we still have Sweden, Ukraine, Russia, Korea, China nationals (+ EUROPE and ASIA continentials)!

MLG, Dreamhack or IEM UK anyone? :D
Only way to know the future is to make it.

Yeah, he's saying what a lot of people are thinking, but he does it quite unprofessionally. Then again, there's a lot that can be said about the # of seeds for different countries in this tournament.

Sorry, who is thinking what Nani just said? You say a lot of people, I haven't seen a single person present a semi-decent argument supporting what he said haha. As many people have pointed out, if you wanted a fair representation, there would be 95% koreans. That's not what the WCS is about.

heh, anyone who actually CAN think would know what Naniwa said was ridiculous. Unless you want to give Korea 30 spots and the rest of the world 2 for the WCS (which would be the 'fair' representation).

Look at the number of slots. Germany gets 4, Sweden gets 3, same as the UK. Now anyone who knows anything about SC2 pro scene has to understand, why that is weird and why especially Swedish players are angry about this.

Maybe a stupid question, but why is that ?

6 queen is to take an early gasless thirds off about no units. They are forced to make some units to kill the rocks. Just means it's later, and not as greedy.

But if you're building units to knock off the rocks first then you're not really playing 6 queen, you're playing 4 queen into units into probably teching cuz it's gonna take fucking forever to kill the rocks anyway, like what Theogenis said.

Or you'll do a nasty timing cuz fuck it.

Just make a few zerglings to clear the rocks, push and do a non all in roach bane take 3rd and 4th behind it, and then laugh as terran tries to cross the map against mass upgrade slings.

Well played Zikto. Read the situation pretty perfect in game 3. Not sure what happened in game 2, but he out-played Demu pretty hard in game 1.

Trouble with that arguement is U.K. should then get 0 spots germany 1 sweden 1 ukraine 1 USA 1 and korea all the other spots.

What?

No! That's not how TvZ works at all T_T. If you want to take that 3rd quickly then you need a lot of lings fast to take down the rocks. If you're going to build that many not-drones you might as well not do that and just really quickly saturate 2 bases instead. Better for your economy and still perfectly viable imo.

It's much better to play something viable over something that, for it to be viable requires you to do something really shonky and actually not that viable at all.
