Why the hell would a Terran do that build on TDA. It is not like there is a easy 3rd.

Ziktomini adjusted his build and "countered" Demuslims "counter". Pretty smart idea :D

Unexpected Top 3 for WCS.

Wat.

I think what Naniwa is getting too is that the Swedish SC2 scene is magnitudes larger then the UK scene and has a lot of very talented people that people know. I'm not quite sure how many spots each country gets (do they differ or are their all the same?) if they do differ in how many people that can go to the nationals then yes I can see it being a bit annoying for Swedish players who have overall a larger pool of really good pro players.

It differs by country.

It's based upon volume of total players per country, not pro players, which leads to some fairly odd numbers.

I don't like that system as it gives a very weird distribution of players in the main tournament. I rather to have it equal in that basis or arbitrary calculate depending the amount of pro players but that give odd situation. Ideally I'd rather have equal players for all countries.

Why doesn't korea have 90% of the spots then ?

Korea should get more spots proportionally yes imo. Not 90% of course but still quite a few.

Yeah, he's saying what a lot of people are thinking, but he does it quite unprofessionally. Then again, there's a lot that can be said about the # of seeds for different countries in this tournament.

Sorry, who is thinking what Nani just said? You say a lot of people, I haven't seen a single person present a semi-decent argument supporting what he said haha. As many people have pointed out, if you wanted a fair representation, there would be 95% koreans. That's not what the WCS is about.

heh, anyone who actually CAN think would know what Naniwa said was ridiculous. Unless you want to give Korea 30 spots and the rest of the world 2 for the WCS (which would be the 'fair' representation).

Exactly what I meant. Just didn't understand the Swedes rushing to his defence when he's a known moron. Brilliant SC2 player, but what a moron.

Well he's not going to be scouting the roach warren. He probably should've had the rines at the watch towers to see it incoming a bit sooner, but would've been game anyway

An unscouted all in vs. a triple command center build? Why exactly shouldn't that win?

A bullshit move?

rofl

Ben just played super greedy again with no scouting info and no defence.

The problem here is - if he doesn't play greedy and the Zerg does, he loses.

Well if you don't build defences or units or scout it turns out you lose sometimes.

Sad thing is, if he didn't go 3 OC he has to semi all in push or be so behind zerg economy you HAVE to get lucky. I just wish T still had shit like that we could throw a random quick unit push that comes out of nowhere and rolls them when they do a heavy macro opening.

Oh like...getting 6 queens and no attacking units.

Seeing as sight towers aren't in the middle, it's relatively easy to hide.

Relevant question since the event is ending

But is there a UK sc2 community website? All I know of is the ingame sc2 channel.
