I think what Naniwa is getting too is that the Swedish SC2 scene is magnitudes larger then the UK scene and has a lot of very talented people that people know. I'm not quite sure how many spots each country gets (do they differ or are their all the same?) if they do differ in how many people that can go to the nationals then yes I can see it being a bit annoying for Swedish players who have overall a larger pool of really good pro players.

Demu played super greedy.
He had three fully saturated bases before zerg did - that is absurd.
All zikto needs to do is throw in a roach ling bling attack and he wins.
Yeah he choked a bit, but it was over once Demu started making units after powering so hard.

Why doesn't korea have 90% of the spots then ?

Do that marine hellion timing and beat him like you beat nestea on TDA!

Demuslim would get crushed by roach bane.. I would be surprised if we don't see it.

Did Ziktomini ever clear up that drop at the third? I don't think so o.O

yeah it's unfortunate Demuslim feels he has play this style just to get an even game. Any sort of pressure from zerg will be autolose for him. Zerg has room for a few errors in the matchup right now. Terran has to play almost perfectly throughout. So far, Demuslim hasn't shown consistency in doing that.

I still can't beleive been no 2rax from DeMu or that helion banshee build which is popular in korea well was more pre 6queen opener i guess but still has worked nicely.

US ladder makes him worse. He can play on the koean ladder in the US and has his teammates there, it's a much better training environment than living alone in EU. He's a micro player so i very much doubt he could play optimally on the Korean ladder from the US. And well does thorzain now also live in the EG house? Guess him and Idra are good training partners, but that's not enough.
No I think Thorzain is at the Slayers house, but it's not just about high level practice partners imo. It's much easier to motivate yourself when you have your teammates playing next to you and you can theorytalk a lot. He also doesn't have to worry about a lot of things, Huk said EG takes really good care of them and they can just play all day without thinking about RL problems. I really don't know about the ping to koea, you might be right, but I still think they play there from time to time and Idra mentioned the NA ladder got a lot better because koreans are playing there more often.

It differs by country.
It's based upon volume of total players per country, not pro players, which leads to some fairly odd numbers.

I think that the organisers are allready recognising the strength of the Swedish scene, given that there are 3 slots for Swedish qualifiers in the European final, as opposed to 1 slot for (for example) Belgium, a country with a larger population that Sweden.
Obviously there has to be a balance struck between size of population/size of country/size of high level playerbase, and I dont envy the organisers the job of opening that can'o'forum rage.
