How is it cheating the system? Both teams play by the same rules, KT just seems to have a better stratagy with who they send out what days and matches.
I think he means that KT can rely on fresh blood that's playing SC2 full time, Ace can't do that
that's the same thing for every team not ACE though, so yea it is unfair against ACE but expecting every other team not to hire coaching / rookies for SC2 under some gentlemen's agreement is ridiculous when it's not an explicit rule

Seeing SC2 pros fail spectacularly at BW, and then seeing the huge skill gap between SC2 pros and BW pros who are still learning the game. I like this proleague format quite a bit, but it's gonna take some time before we actually see mostly competitive games.
Hey, I'm just happy that certain "elitists" were proven wrong when they said that BW pros were immediately going to crush in SC2. I mean seriously, it's going to take them several months or so.

From a winning standpoint, I agree. But when your core audience is mainly hold-overs BW viewers, it's kind of lame. I think viewers would prefer watching a mediocre SC2 game and a good BW game from Stats, than an good SC2 game but horrible BW game from Lizzy/Acacia.
Blame KeSPA for making the ace match sc2 instead of BW...
They should have rotated the ACE match just like the players .

really? That TvZ wasn't nearly as bad as the first GSL games let's be honest.
The entertainement quality was better because it wasn't just a marine/scv allin or a doubleport banshee. But at least in the first seasons of GSL the builds were thougt out and executed cleanly whilst i get the idea that these BW pro's are just winging it.
They know the builds they are suppose to be doing and thats what is saving the games but what they dont know is the why they are doing it which leads to weird games on both ends when deviations happen.

KT using their sc2 bonjwas vs ace who can't get any sc2 talent because none of them are doing military service
That's interesting actually. ACE could be a serious force in the next PL if a bunch of the current SC2 pros start military service.
they wouldn't be able to join unless they abolish the kespa license system
They said that they're working on something with the GSL teams, so hopefully by the time Oz, Ganzi, NaDa, July and the rest all get into the army they'll be able to play on ACE.

It also doesn't help terran is in the most stale and difficult situation in sc2 atm. With the queen buff no one knows whats going on in TvZ atm :/

Reality is legit.
Yeah Reality was the only one who looked anywhere near decent.
Flash looked good imo, except he did let Effort massing drones unharrassed. But his play by itself looked fine to me.
Yeah alright, he didn't look terrible but it was overshadowed by Effort who looked very competent.

that says alot about lizzies skill it must be horrible because if a zerg uses a 4pool because he knows he sucks at everything else, it must mean the zerg sucks
im just correcting people who are commenting about "oh lizzy lost those goons there, etc etc, man he sucks" as giving reasons he sucks but in reality you should be saying "lizzy did some horrible all-in build almost similar to a 4pool in function. it means he knows he cannot play a real game competitively and thus he sucks"
How is it akin to 4 pool vs CC first? He could have easily stopped unit production and expanded. Instead he chose to engage a bunker with 2 siege tanks behind, no way he would have broken that. I guess he was just saving his energy for the ace match or something. Still pretty horrible decision making.
normally the zerg just GG's if the 4pool doesnt grant him a BO win
lizzy decided he could either attack with a 100% chance of failing and maybe a miracle would happen
or lizzy could pull back and play at a 100% extreme disadvantage in the macro game. same as a 4pool pulling back and trying to play normal after failing to win with the initial attack
Again, the main point isn't that he chose to attack, it's that he doesn't even know the basics. Imagine a Zerg in SC2 going 12hatch14pool instead of 15hatch16pool. It's that bad.

lol
this poor guy is going to look like a fool in his bw match next week most likely
Strategic decision from KT to load up on SC2 players to win the second set guaranteed and then take the ACE with the hopes they can 2-0 the BW set, I can see them going far.

It's filled up more since the bw games actually. people trickling in after school ends I guess.
