My point is facts do not support the widely-accepted allegation of Protoss being OP.

However you want to measure it Terran is at LEAST even. Everything from individual matches to the overall combined pro-level win statistics that regularly get posted up here show that. And yet Terrans abusing Protoss is acceptable because "lol 'toss OP".

Sorry, just pisses me off. Absolutely vile attitude from many people.

Why do you care unless you're GM league, chance is if you're in Diamond and losing to Toss / Terran / Zerg you're pretty bad regardless and should probably fix basic things before whining about overpowered strategys with close to perfect execution and decision making.
The fact that you're taking the LR thread seriously is another thing you should stop doing, if you want an example of why not just look for TT1s posts or posts made when Idra loses.

How does that have anything to do with anything?

Being pissed off at the constant abuse of people on here based on their race pick has precisely nothing to do with my own games. I'm a goddamn terrible player, that's hardly relevant.

More to the point I watch these games and browse these forums. Every discussion of PvT comes down to Terrans whining about balance if Protoss ever wins a match. Absolutely disgusting.

Then refer to point 2, why are you reading the LR thread / obvious places that are going to be full of QQ?

In case you haven't noticed it's basically the entire forum doing it. Constantly.

Perhaps as part of the late late game. Mvp was pushing 3/0 ups for his vikings when he began the BC transition, in a split-map situation. Also, Metrolopolis with its chokey, centralized midfield and island expos is uniquely suited for this sort of TvP.

Then make a thread in website feedback requesting mods to tighten up on the balance whine then if they say no, call them terran players and create your own protoss friendly website

I might be wrong but I just cant see them staying. Squirtle seemed like that game he was just improving things to do to deal with what MVP was doing. For example that recall to snipe the island was clearly not planned out or he would have had a better way to get back. However the archon toilot, despite not being terribly well executed (2 more archons in there and those BCs dont even need to get stormed) it still decimated that style hard and in a way that I think might lend itself to dominating it in the future.

Not really. Squirtle Mass Recalled half of his army to the island expansion in the top-left, lost 2 Nexuses, had the majority of his HT's EMP'd, and still dealt with them handily. Also MVP was only able to do that turtling behind 4PFs, 4 Sensor Towers, 1000 missle turrets, mass Ghost, and 2 island expansions for support.

I actually wonder about the archon toilet. In PvZ it's uniquely good because Z has no feedback/EMP. Against Terran I wonder how useful it can be-- it seems much more hit and miss, so to speak.

I think he had the 3-0 to crush the collosus quickly but I wouldnt put it past MVP to have had it planned out taht far. MVP is the player who did the super turtle vs Nestea to go tank/ghost and did a super turtle vs Top to go Tank/ghost/BC/Viking so he isnt averse to having these ultra super late game plans.

That's true. Metrolopolis is definitely the map for it. About a year ago, Mvp was notable for using battlecruisers rather extensively in TvT-- maybe they're his favorite unit?

MVP could have spread his BCs into 3-4 groups. Doesn´t say anything about BCs at all, but more about MVP´s decisions and the toilet+archon strat that basically beats almost everything in seconds.

Tbh it's pretty much a massive gamble because you're relying on avoiding an AoE energy drain coming from a cloaked unit.

Self-evidently it can seemingly be effective (well, depending on composition I guess), but it's pretty much as volatile as the HT/Ghost relationship without the advantage of being able to have multiple units you can split (only one Mothership).

Ok real talk for a moment now about that game 5.
+ Show Spoiler +
That game was absolutely terrible.I can understand that people are hyped about when something unique happens but everything that led up to that point was just bad.
Once squirtle decided that it was a good idea to recall 50 supply of his army to an islandd(which, when it happened,I facepalmed so hard that I nearly tore half of my face off) and get his mothership sniped(which was even worse),he should have lost the game right there.
Fortunately for him,for some reason that's unknown to me,MVP decided it would be a good idea to sit back and wait till Squirtle recovers. All he had to do as soon as that mothership went down is 1A move the BCs and he would have rolled squirtle probably and even if he would have lost due to a influx of units since Squirtle had mad bank, that moment was absolutely the best time to win at that point, since squirtle had dead supply trapped.
He SAW the mothership explode,it exploaded right over his expo.To not attack right there and than was just mind boggling.

You're completely correct, but then we would not have had that amazing moment happen and the series would have ended 4-1 instead of 4-3 with an insane game 7. So just be happy

yeah one EMP on the mothership would have worked wonders as well ^.^
