![]() Supernova could have won the 1st game, he was just too reluctant to attack after 4-gate failled. And they both stayed in two base like forever. Naturally, toss started close the army gap by higher worker count. If it was MKP, this game would have ended after the failed 4-gate. Terran still have many more options than protoss and this still makes it stronger in the start of the game. At latter stages I find the match up quite balanced.

If Blizzard and the tournaments want the Maps to stay the way they currently are ( like Daybreak f.e ) there needs to be some patching. TvP even if you believe it is balanced is still horrible to play and watch.

I always thought hero was a 2nd rate toss, but he has proven he's not. I hope it's MVP vs Hero finals, but my head is telling me it's gonna be Parting and squirtle. We can all still believe

Right now T and P are both about equal, and Zerg probably just lacks new Talent. Squirtle proved at IPL already, that hes one of the MIP, most improved players in 2012 HerO just plays the season of his life, first time in Code S too afaik, and hes the most solid player in Teamliquid right now. PartinG is a PvT monster, and GSL naturally has most Terrans, so he has always chances to run deep. only guys like DRG and aLive are to blame, they could have easily made it to the finals from here.

Meanwhile, the next week, or month, with no patches happening you watch sets with the other race winning just as handedly, or things like MKP winning multiple tournaments in a row while gold league armchair experts are whining about how horribly weak and hopeless Terran are. Eyeroll. Fucking joke the lot of you whiners.

A 1-1-1 still has no counter btw. Just thought I'd say that. And yet, out of the 10 TvP games in Ro8, there was not 1 attempt at a 1-1-1... Have Korean Terrans gotten more honorable (unlikely) or are most Protosss builds, maps, better control making the 1-1-1 not as effective??? Terran still have many more options than protoss and this still makes it stronger in the start of the game. At latter stages I find the match up quite balanced. Terrans do have more options. But with the bigger maps and smaller ramps, Protoss with a decent sentry count/scouting can counter many of these options. Not sure why you find the latter stages balanced considering the protoss army upgrades faster and better, has warp ins.

I was responding to the guy who whined about all the Terran nerfs when they were overpowered to begin with, hence the need for the nerf. Spells are unique on their own already, the fact that EMP is instant and free is VERY unique to storm which is progressive and need to be researched. Blizzard obviously found it unfair for EMP to have bigger radius than storm, hence the nerf. Shouldn't throw the word dumb around if you didn't even comprehend my argument. I'm retarded sorry, didn't want to quote you but the guy you were adressing. And not all spells are really unique, aside from the cast ranges and such EMP/storm/fungal are really similiar in their function.

A lot of them aren't even bothering to build them, as if the EMP radius nerf somehow made them useless. It's been widely known that there is a major AOE battle between ghosts and high templar but terrans are losing it constantly, for no reason. Ghost v Templar is not imbalanced in either favor, it comes down to skill, but in recent months terrans just haven't been doing it. All those devastating storms that go off and make the game look imbalanced...? How about use some actual EMPs, ghost cloak, snipe templar and observers? How many games in the past have been completely swung by EMPs but now terran aren't even using them? Because you need really high APM(higher than pros even) for all the shit you listed while the Protoss A-moves and clicks storm. I'd really like to see you try to EMP a split up army, snipe templars, dodge storms, split your own units, move out of storms, stim, focus fire collosi with vikings since you made it sound soooo easy to do.

PLEASE, just because protoss players found a way to beat terran, that doesn't mean protoss is unbeatable. You need to wait for the meta game to solidify before you can say "something needs to be nerfed right now!" Terran players haven't tried everything yet. Heres what I can think of off the top of my head: adding tanks to the bio mix, dropping with low energy medivacs to prevent feedback, abusing the cloak/speed/range on ghosts against high templars(all ghost spells are range 10 and all high templar spells are range 9), and building extra orbital commands for scans to anticipate tech switch. When the 111 build got popular, it was 80%+ win rate against protoss. Nothing was done to fix it, but now protoss players can hold it off. Although I'm in vague agreement with your general sentiment; Tanks with bio; being tried. All the time. Watched any pro games recently? Low energy medivacs; Good. Probably being done by some players. Still pretty minor stuff though, not gonna turn a match up around. Using ghosts spells; Use EMP and snipe you say? Well why didn't anyone think of this before. Extra orbitals; Late game you should have scans coming out of your arse. Also I'd like to point out that learning to deal with an early game rush and learning to play against the late game of a whole race are different things. And this 'P>T lategame' jazz isn't exactly new, it's been around since release. I don't think anything needs nerfing right now anyhow. Just sayin'.
