The broadcast and production are top-notch, of course, but the list of players, the whole format, was just not that exciting? I'm probably not going to pay for another Arenas... These are some of the best representatives for each race in the entire world... every game is pretty much guaranteed to be really fucking good. This has been some of the best presentation/production I've seen

Yeah, it changes the rules but doesn't make mlg look that bad. The rules were there beforehand and they didn't mess it up or anything. They're just extremely uncommon and weird rules, that's why people are confused. Whoever came up with this system must've had a boring night or something.

It should go match record (all three are 3-4), winning percentage (Heart is no longer tied), then head to head/match record between the tied players. Not this confusing nonsense.

Hell, DRG could have lost to MKP and Ganzi 3-0 instead of 2-1 and still went through with map score of 7-14 If Parting had only lost 0-2 vs. Heart instead of 0-3 the tiebreaker situation would've been different.

Hell, DRG could have lost to MKP and Ganzi 3-0 instead of 2-1 and still went through with map score of 7-14 Maybe but you can't know that for sure. For instance, when Heart was leading 2-0 against Parting, it turns out the 3rd game was the game that would decide the fate of both players (If I'm right and I am) Edit: Ninajed just above :D

The problem is not the system itself, but the fact that mlg hasn't made things clear to the players, which is a problem to the image of the event.

MLG @MLG Parting has placed 7th place in the Round Robin and is eliminated. He will still play in the 2v2 tournament, free on the @drpepper stream!

Also, 2nd time in the span of as many tournaments that Parting always has some odd tournament-deciding rulings associated with him. Edit: Well...not so heart-broken now. DRG is through? Edit 2: Nevermind. Still don't know. -.-
