It is likely the confusion is with heart/DRG. Do they use the heart/DRG/parting map score as decider since that is what got them in? Or they just use h2h between DRG/heart since parting is out.

So, Step-by-Step:

Round Robin Ranking (1st-8th) will be determined using each Player’s Record of Matches won and lost.

Heart, DRG and Parting all have a Match Record of 3-4, therefore there is a tie.

Ties will be broken using the following Tiebreakers in this order: Head to Head Match Winning Percentage (Matches Won vs. Tied Players / Matches Played vs. Tied Players),

This is:
Heart: 1/1 (Win vs. Parting / Loss vs. DRG)
Parting: 1/1 (Win vs. DRG / Loss vs. Heart)
DRG: 1/1 (Win vs. Heart / Loss vs. Parting)
therefore we have a tie in this category as well

Head to Head Games Winning Percentage (Games Won vs. Tied Players / Games Played vs. Tied Players),

This is:
Heart: 4/6 (3-0 vs. Parting + 1-2 vs. DRG, makes for 4 wins with 6 games played)
Parting: 2/6 (2-1 vs. DRG + 0-3 vs. Heart)
DRG: 3/6 (2-1 vs. Heart + 1-2 vs. Parting)
At this stage the tie is broken with Heart > DRG > Parting and the other factors don't matter anymore

There is a 3-way-tie. DRG > Heart > PartinG > DRG

Heart got higher map score than DRG and PartinG, he advances.

DRG/PartinG have same map score, PartinG beat DRG head-to-head.

Heart advances with PartinG, thats how it should work.

That's how it SHOULD work but MLG seems to have come up with some other kind of crazy rule that makes it not happen.
