This is not true. Ties will be broken using the following Tiebreakers in this order: Head to Head Match Winning Percentage (Matches Won vs. Tied Players / Matches Played vs. Tied Players), Head to Head Games Winning Percentage (Games Won vs. Tied Players / Games Played vs. Tied Players), and Round Robin Games Winning Percentage (Round Robin Games Won / Round Robin Games Played). edit: Well, I guess you could bend it to a true interpretation, but it's not the most natural reading and it surely isn't the one that would occur to someone not familiar with the very peculiar rule in play here. | ||
