I agree with this. This exposes overrated players or who they really are. With group play, some players just luk out and get a bracket full players who are bad vs Protoss, then cheeses them anyway. And don't say traveling takes a toll on those players who win due to luk.

Lol i don't like HuK either but you seriously have something against him lol.

eh, when someone is as cocky as Huk, calling his control top 3 and bragging that he won 2 MLG's (one against random players), and only ever being in GSL through welfare seeds he's going to gain some anti-fans and critics.

Now here, with a format that weeds out the sub par players, Huk is in last place with by far the worst record. Maybe people will start to understand why many of us have pointed out that Huk has had a lot of luck in his runs, with series of pvps and other games vs mediocre players.

The same can be said for every single foreign player. No foreign player has shown they can compete with the top Koreans,

I never specified which player I was referring to. Could be naniwa. How would you know? Could be MC. Could be parting. Why are you guys making baseless assumptions.

I wonder who 'Luk' is referring to.

agreed, the guy has been lucky for a very long time.

take gsl for example. he was 1-2 in his group for like 3 seasons, which didn't get him kicked out of GSL.
and that 1 win was always against killer, who's a protoss player, and the only matchup huk is even good in.

People who watch Naniwa and Stephano see they have better play. Doesn't mean they get better results, however. HuK's PvP is top of the world, but his other match ups are gimmicky.

Could you please stop the Huk hate? SC2 is like other sports greatly influenced by mental state and Huk as a players seems to be affected even more by that then others maybe ... do you really expect him to do good when he reads all this shit? Do you think that boosts his confidence? Realize what happend when MKP finally managed to win a big tourney ... confidence is everything. Besides Huk is an awesome person, a human being and he deserves atleast some form of respect and not all this stupid bashing ....

Man this event kicks ass, love the round robin super group, the price, and awsome commentary and analys. Dont know what problems peaple talk about i havent had a single one

No foreign player has shown they can compete with the top Koreans,

naniwa and stephano, every other foreigner is a tier below

What's Naniwa done that Huk hasn't, to prove he can compete. Also, Stephano has 47% winrate vs Koreans and went 1-3 vs Code S Koreans in his last tournament,

well, by that logic 47% is a lot better than 0% that huk is showing this tourney

lol wtf, how did you come to that conclusion? That's not using my logic at all.

Huk has proven it time and time again, he's playing badly this tournament so hopefully he'll get back to his best and show some better games.

Calling the DT's explaining exactly what MC is thinking. I'm speechless.
