They were the dominant team at the end of 2011, with far the most players in Code S, MMA winning tournaments left and right. And since then, they steadily got worse. No player in the Ro16 and no other great showings including team league appearances means a big deal for them. We'll see if they can come back!
I think with their top terrans, MMA and Ryung both constantly losing to protoss players they are falling into a semi slump. Ganzi and Taeja leaving doesn't help either.
It's mostly this. If you guys think about it; it's not really that their players are doing much worst or being in an actual slump. MMA and Ryung had never been good in TvP, and they both did lose to at least one TvP in their group. Ganzi and Taeja left; and then there was this thing with Coca, and he just almost recently got back in, but one step short in the qualifier.
And that's pretty much all of their top players no?
I just realized that Unless Virus makes it through tomorrow, there will be more protoss than Terran in the ro16. When is the last time that happened? Never?

Genius, MC, Parting, Oz
oz, mkp, mvp and suno are all on 900
Nestea too if he gets through.
But @ Last season's RO16 450, Oz was the one with the better mapscore out of all 4 (4-5 VS 1-4, 3-4, 3-5, 2-4).
While this season's RO16 450 points, Supernova and MKP are at 4-1, Oz and MVP are at 4-2.

Result wise you forgot that they still have Puzzle, if anything he at least knows how to win.

it's ok, there are 8 of em in code A, they'll own that up instead
After looking at the brackets I would say Ven, Alicia and YugiOh all have very top Round1 opponents and are very likely to go out. Also the opponents of the other Slayers' are no walkovers by any means. I don't see an imcoming Slayers ownage in Code A to be honest.

Puzzle made too many mistakes and Ryung's TvP makes MMA's look like MKP's
