And then you fault map because its weak for 3 base? Never heard of map dependant builds?

He lost when he didn't deny the third and/or follow up with an all-in. edit: amazing how well he did to hold on so far but its got to be taxing/draining trying to win an unwinnable game.

I'm not usually a fan of it but in this particular game, it simply worked. It's stupid to try and deny that It did but it also had his expo far later then a FFE and invested 600 gas in sentries that a FFE can let him skip, or at least invest in later. I honestly think a FFE would have been better, I think it lends itself better to a 2base timing because you get econ up faster so atk comes sooner.

Metropolis is a hard map for ZvP but you didn't see Zergs blaming Curious loss on how easy it is for Protoss to turtle on 3 bases there =/ The point is still that if you are forced by map design into a small set of builds, then the map isn't as good as others. Take metropolis, you can either take a 3rd or allin. On dual sight you are forced to allins and because of the structure of the map, you will win more than on any other map, which to me is just stupid. It's the same exact reason why Crossfire is finally out of the map pool.

Also how far it is for a protoss to cover his main if hes caught out of positions if mutas fly in?

We never want to know that he will 2 base all-inn... It would be easy for zerg to win then. What? All-ins are part of the game too. Of course a map will appear imbalanced for Zerg if all Protoss choose to employ a suboptimal strategy.

There is no one else participating for the 4th spot. Hero has never done well in GSL. Doing well in foreign tournaments doesn't make you a top Protoss.
