First time Socke beat a notable Korean on LAN?
What? He 2-0ed JYP just 2 weeks ago at IEM.

Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks!

I guess it's my protoss bias showing through but the whole prospect of a unit that cloaks/2shots workers that can maintain such close proximity to the mineral line in the "dead" air space around grubby's nat and main feels wrong. I think it's Cloud Kingdom that takes away all the air space around the main and natural but I can just feel Grubby seething under his skin because one wrong read basically means gg

Yeah he switched like a year later (counting beta) He's also married, has a wife and house Priority and outlook tends to shift towards other areas in life when you grow older. Grubby can't just sacrifice everything like Naniwa can; like move to Korea and live in GOM house or StarTale house. Naniwa can afford to be selfish and think only what is best for himself while Grubby has to consider his wife into the equation. And just the fact that Grubby is older and people have prime years when it comes to gaming at their peak.

Yup. Just open the stream on teamliguid or mlg.com/live instead of twitch and you can do it. Edit: Ah you meant the games from day1. That i do not know.

I don't know if this is just my imagination but nearly always when I see Grubby playing a bo3 I see him playing one fantastic map, one mediocre and an absolute trainwreck. But well he is a fighter I hope he can get his tournament win this year. Naniwa is playing SC2 much longer then Grubby. Grubby is only playing SC2 for a year basically. or I would rather say almost 1.5 years and still mediocre

Grubby just.....iono although he did take out Violet so that was good for him! Different games, different metas, different times. Grubbys still learning. Give him time. You'll see the same seemingly odd variance results when brood war pros switch over. Some of them will take to it like a fish out of water and perform amazingly and some of them will be a shadow of there former selves. He's had MORE than enough time, that's not a valid excuse at all. Also, "different metas"... ?? BS, enough time? He's only playing for a year. He's a year behind most guys. And years behind the players that played BW. I mean, to be honest I think Grubby has been progressing a lot. Anyone remember how terribly he played in NASL season 1? He is leaps and bounds better now
