Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks!

which part of disrespecting tournament rules and making your opponent wait, is sportsmanship?

He should jump on the Day[9] bandwagon while the window is still open, and start a cult of personality to ensure that he doesn't have to actually do anything difficult - like, you know, train or compete at a high level. The question is not "when will he start doing well", but "how many more terrible MLGs can his 'hilarious banter' sustain". He does so much for the community and team EG that he doesnt need to worry about his livelyhood being tied to his tournament success. Only rational reason for Puma not being there is that he did not know when he was supposed to be there.

He was about 10 seconds away from getting a series walkover and wannabecool (my teammate) went and found him and told him he had to play. I did have a choice to make it a full BO3, but it's not like one can expect any different. I dont think EG, or any other proteam would willingly give up an advantage like that in such an important match. I don't think cheesing players better than you is that sad, but obviously I'm not ecstatic about beating him in that way. Game 2 my mouse was glitching so I was tilted and just went all in. shouldn't you be allowed to pause the game if your moutch starts glitching?

I don't have much respect for a person that tries to win games without having to play them. That's the point of a competitive sport, for people to play games against each other, and for tournaments to host good games for us spectators. I don't find that very sportsman. But fine, we'll just watch ostojiy self-destruct all over his pool, instead of a player that could have brought us some pretty good games. Please. Regardless, it's a competition, and Alex's organisation fucked up by not managing the needs of their player sufficiently to make a time. So he's gutted because exposure (leading to the ROI from players we all hear about so much) is now potentially diminished and makes statements based upon hearsay and rumour. The hearsay and rumour may be 100% correct too. And you know what, I almost hope it is. And I'd still back Ostojiy's actions. He's 100% in the right here if what Alex says is true. Alex has acknowledged in the reddit post that there is a fine line between defending his player and just whining, and I think his initial response was on the whining side of the line, which isn't classy.
