Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks! |

I don't think cheesing players better than you is that sad, but obviously I'm not ecstatic about beating him in that way. Game 2 my mouse was glitching so I was tilted and just went all in. zzzz when White-Ra missed a game at MLG by such a large margin that he was given a walk over loss then when he and his opponent met in the losers bracket his opponent forfeited two maps to him to make it fair. Yeah, but that's white-ra vs some no-name. What the guy did was great but he was no pro with a chance for pool play. Completely different situation.

Puma obviously wasn't aware of the match, why would you take advantage of this situation? While you could obviously ask for a walk-over, you'd be surprised how much more appreciation you'd have gotten by just playing a normal BO3. Out of sportsmanship, out of respect for your opponent, for the fans and for the tournament organization.

Gee, thats a suprise.
He should jump on the Day[9] bandwagon while the window is still open, and start a cult of personality to ensure that he doesn't have to actually do anything difficult - like, you know, train or compete at a high level.
The question is not "when will he start doing well", but "how many more terrible MLGs can his 'hilarious banter' sustain".

Zyzz is a guy who juiced, went to raves and he had great genetics. He wasn't a hero, he was just a cool guy that made amusing videos of him trolling in Australia. The internet went crazy with him for whatever reason, I guess it started as the misc just overhyping him for amusement/constant troll threads about him and eventually started to spread.

white-ra's opponent wasn't on the verge into getting into pool play and probably would have been knocked out completely by the next 'name' he ran into. easier decision to lose and get the free good publicity when the gain from winning is so much smaller =P
