Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks! |

It sounds like Ostojiy is saying he was 20 minutes late when compared to match time, making the difference between their stories 3 minutes or so.
I wasn't there and can't comment officially, but that's what I'm getting from this discussion. Being 5 minutes late loses you the first game, 15 minutes late means losing the whole match. Assuming the rules were enforced correctly, Puma was between 5 and 15 minutes late.

I'm not sure about aLive TvP. His match against Genius were pretty depressing.

I'm only watching these interviews to see how jacked off his face Clutch is on the party powder. I too have grown to dislike Day9. He's pretending like he doesn't think that he's the greatest guy ever; or the king of "nerds", while still thinking he is just that. And he's bad at pretending. Have to give it to him he has helped SC2 grow a lot though but I can't stand the guy. Well he basicly is at least in the top ten king of nerds. And how do you know what he is thinking? He is just beeing humble about all the love he is getting and all the fans he have :D
He's self effacing in the same way your girlfriend says 'aww you shouldn't have' when you buy her a present.

Puma was 20 minutes late and paid for it. Ostojiy may not have done the most honorable thing, but you can't blame him, he was simply not arguing against MLG's rules.
Oh, and I think Day9 can be a bit full of himself sometimes, but the anti-fan boys need to calm down.

Random rant. I'm a miscer and wow am I tired of Zyzz stuff. It was obnoxious when he was alive, now that he's dead it's become extremely annoying imo. He was always a cool guy but all the people repeating his/misc sayings and talking about him in every trance video are worse than the most rabid fanclub fans (such as myself).

People do what they have to win and I commend Ostojiy for this. SC2 is a dog eat dog world.

I don't think cheesing players better than you is that sad, but obviously I'm not ecstatic about beating him in that way. Game 2 my mouse was glitching so I was tilted and just went all in. zzzz when White-Ra missed a game at MLG by such a large margin that he was given a walk over loss then when he and his opponent met in the losers bracket his opponent forfeited two maps to him to make it fair. zzzz his opponent is a great guy, but that doesn't mean everyone has to be.

If you are not a fan you could have just kept it to yourself. By letting everyone know you're not a fan you become a hater.

MC's wins are all from a really long time ago besides HSC4 which wasn't really that big.

incontrol is out of the tournament, pretty lackluster performance Really? I thought he did pretty well, I don't expect everyone to make it out of the Open Bracket. he beat 2 no names players and took a game off binski... better then I expected given the history that he has for tournaments/MLG specificly.

It's silly to think someone as awesome as Day[9] can have haters because after helping build this community from obscurity into mainstream, and then takes pride in his accomplishments.

There's a difference between reasonable and unreasonable sportsmanship.
I was there at Anaheim when that happened, I cheered for that guy along with everyone else. Should I expect everyone to do that same thing in that scenario? No. That's one of the reasons that it's so admirable when someone DOES do it.
