How does stephano typically play ZvP?
His vP doesn't make any sense, he just mass roaches basically but holds every all-in every game.
It's his superior game sense and strong mechanics.
I'm not going to lie, but I don't think Stephano's mechanics are that much better than any other top tier foreigner. For some reason he just holds shit off though.
Stephano's mechanics are much better than other top tier foreigners. He maxes out faster, he micros better, he engages better, he picks better positions, and he has better reads and better decision making.

It's probably mindset as well. Idra thinks protoss are impossible to beat; Stephano probably has a lot more positive attitude.

going hydras is really frustrating/bad imo. i'm by no means a good zerg but as soon as you're off creep, your hydra investment is useless unless you have such a HUGE advantage that you can walk to his base and it doesn't even matter... which would require some serious mistakes on the P's part.
although maybe its more of a defensive opener, i guess.
Yes ofc they are bad off creep, but like you say for a Defenders advantage being on creep anyway its not entirely that bad, plus Darkforce beat real with 2x Roach Hydra timings. I do think there the only way to beat mass stalkers though.

its all about knowing when to engage and flanking with lings so toss cant run from hydra dps
Xigua destroyed it against Killer without using Hydras. He forced a few FF's and he threw spines. People are forgetting how late Idra's roach warren was. He had slow roaches against Immortal/stalker/sentry. Even if Feast didnt have those two immortals, i dont think Idra was going to hold it.

I really want idra to lose. I want him to lose until every other person loses hope that he is a good player because he is not. He has so much hype and so few results. So GOGO idra, 0-5. YOU CAN DO IT!
idra would be playing better but he is getting used to the time zone, probably has serious jetlag and the issue with the accommodation hasn't helped, you can't expect him to perform at his highest level when there are a lot of issues going on
