How are these situations even comparable? In an all-in you have 2-3 voidrays that you simply need to pull back once they are damaged, you either succeed or you dont.

Sure you can do a passable marine "split" and call it "easy" to do, but you are nowhere a good and optimal marine split yet. When the skill ceiling with marine splits is almost infinite, calling it easy is just ridiculous.

For good reason imo, they roflstomp Marines and with the range upgrade somewhat decent vs Tank clumps. But the main thing of course is the first point, they wipe Marines quickly after which the Terran push cannot really continue.
