The time has come for our seventh IGN Pro League Fight Club! This is a weekly king of the hill showmatch series. Basically, there will be a 1 vs. 1 best of 9 showmatch each and every week, where the winner will earn a $500 prize and a $100 bounty on their head. For example, if a player wins three weeks in a row they will have earned $1,500 and a $300 bounty. If a NEW challenger defeats him, they will earn $500 for the showmatch, take the $300 bounty home, and have a new $100 bounty placed on their head for each week that they win. (Similar to IPL Team Arena, but without the teams!)
When: Sunday, Jan 22 1:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) (we will also have a European re-broadcast as usual at Sunday, Jan 22 5:30pm GMT (GMT+00:00))
The competitors of IPL Fight Club 7 are two Europeans with a history of getting very far in major tournaments, live or online. MaNa pulled off a great victory against SlayerS`GanZi last week to become our champion, but this is a different matchup against an opponent that he's played many times before. We'll see on Saturday if Nerchio has what it takes to topple his Polish peer and take the crown for himself!

Well, there shouldnt be any doubt who wins this ... Nerchio !!
Mana never beats Nerchio (only once)
Right now its 11-4 in maps and 4-1 in series. Nerchio always seems to be Mana's mental block, I remember watching an online tourney where they talked about this, Nerchio owned Mana (I think 3-0 or 4-0) and Mana just went offline, Nerchio always wins ;D
Nerchio seems to have an edge over Mana in their match history, and he played very well at HSC, beating LiquidHero. I would give the advantage to Nerchio.
Two of the absolute best Europeans, the Polish duel I expect a very close match. Don't rly mind who wins, maybe I would like good manners to triumph so Mana^^
Amazing match up, gratz to whoever came up with Nerchio idea .
Joshy, will this time resolution change on stream be allowed? Last week it was huge pain in the bum as I watch 240p or 360p only coz of sucky internet. In the end I had to wait till tuesday to watch games on Youtube, which was not nice .

Seems kinda strange to me that 2 europeans would play in the middle of the night (for them).
I guess it's prerecorded and played in US evening hours, IGN is an American company in the end and this is the audience they want to reach the most.
Unfortunately MaNa's PvZ is not up to the level of his godlike PvT, although it's certainly much improved from the albatross it was this time last year. Nerchio 5 > 3 MaNa is my pick.
oh wow jjakji next week? nerchio is going to get rolled =/ better put in top-level foreigner terran after jjakji to snipe him :D in other news, i think nerchio takes this 5:1 :D

he's beaten a couple of good korean terrans so i wonder why you were surprised
Ganzi is a strong Code S player, and easily one of the top 10 Terrans in the world. While Mana is very good at PvT, Ganzi is still a scary player and beating him in a Bo9 is a big accomplishment.

Yeah. If Jjakji can take out Leenock, Nerchio should be a walk in the park...

i guess we'll see what nerchio got up his sleeve against arguably the best tvzer in the world- i would be suprised it it wouldn't be 3-0 or 3-1 for jjakji.

It's a best of 9, so I would say 5-1 or 5-2. I cannot see Nerchio not taking a single game.

i want him to win, i like him a lot
but if he loses to kas, he'll lose to jjakji i'm pretty certain. his zvt seems shaky at times.
