Rotterdams a bit of a PvP beast (if he does say so himself) and in this group it's going to be the deciding match-up, either one could win or lose to CatZ which puts more focus on it. With inControl I think it's more that haters gonna hate.

But winning this tournament is abit optimistic. Loved his play, but it was pretty clear he can get abit anxious and tries to hard when he is already winning and ends up loosing the game as we did see in the last game. He did some very weird decisions, but he is young. I hope he does very well though.

I definitely do not want to jinx him, nor do I want to overhype him, but he did beat Lucky pretty convincingly, and also took out Ret 2-0 in the IEM Sao Paulo US qualifers (beat Demuslim 3-0 as well). He might not be the favorite to win it all, but he is definitely a contender for that title.

I hope some of the underdogs can prove me wrong, but I think some of the group stage matchups could produce a lot of massively one-sided games. Great point. Frankly, there are quite a few ladder superstars who are quite a bit better than some of the names being invited to different tournaments (I don't mean to insult anyone participating in this tourney, I'm speaking about invitationals in general). Those players might be able to give some of the top tier a run for their money. But some of the different personalities who end up getting invited pose no threat to actually win the entire tournament. However, as already mentioned by the tournament organizers, running invitationals is a little easier to admin (though running an online bracket isn't too difficult), and it also gives the tournament more of an appeal.

It is more that 16 players that are known for consistency and showing up on time makes it easier to run our first tournament. In the future we will branch out, but please remember this is the first thing we have done other than get all of you to drink and hang out together. The difference in skill sets needed is large.
