Beating up on random players on ladder means nothing. We have to hold progamers to a certain standard at this point. Amazing players like Hero and Huk and Idra and countless others are amazing talents and the fact that Goody can continue to play with the same build in every matchup with such low speed and flexibility is simply unacceptable for a progamer. He'll either adapt to the game or (most likely) simply fade from the scene, play like that shouldn't exist at this point in SC2 competition.

Yeah, when people were still clueless about how the game is supposed to be played. Goody has shown absolutely no flexibility in his game and if he continues to play this absurdly stupid style all the time he will be left behind. And I really hope that happens soon, such ridiculous, unentertaining games don't deserve to be casted.

depends how high you set the bar, if i said that i want to see real progamers and all that shit all current progamers should retire, because their mechanics "suck", by foreigner standards goody will be relevant for years(if the current game balance stays).

Not true, we've seen massive improvement in SC2 progaming. There are plenty of players who are constantly pushing the bar with their multitasking, build orders and tactics. SC2 is finally getting exciting with real progamers facing off against each other at the highest levels of competition. Players like Goody need to improve or just die off, there is no room for mediocrity in SC2 anymore.

After seeing Idra vs Nestea at MLG i actually wondered if SC2 should even be an E-Sport.

Both players played a BO (with mistakes) until one guy overcomitted on his BO-Advantage and then lost. If progamers are doing shit like this, they should not be progamers (and most likely would not be in SC/BW, at least they would not be on TV for more than 1-2 games

Naniwa vs Nestea wasn't much better... One game was decided by Nestea playing blind and the final game just stupid..

There is tons of room in SC2 for mediocrity. The very best players often show TERRIBLE decisions.
Goodys playstile/gameplan seems to exploit exactly that:
Set defense up --> Let stupid opponent charge head on into it --> Counter --> Profit.

but what he says is true, you can see so many "top", "best of the best" games, and count 10 mistakes before players even engage their armies, and some mistakes are still elementary (like famous Puma supplyblocks). I feel like there is still so much mediocrity, but because casters try to overhype every single move someone does (4zergling vs zealot micro seriously? Thats platinium level of micro and everyone in platinium should be able to micro zerglings vs 1 zealot, why someone would hype that?)

well, the players play far from perfect right now. But they are still playing at a much higher level as they did one year ago, and this will continue. And don't see a problem with it.
