I'm not arguing about that game in particular or saying that PvZ lacks micro in general, just against protoss being the most micro intensive race as there's constant use of colossus and chargealots in every match up, whilst terran relies on heavy micro in all the matchups(unless you go mech, which nobody does percentage wise)

It was good but was largely unnecessary other than when the drones came and putting a control group into a warp prism is not sick micro by any means. Once the warp prism is set up and the sentries have done the ramp, there's very little micro to be done, he warped in a few zealots and had the void rays covering the prism from the few roaches that could spawn. I do not get why people jump on any opinion of a build as if it's an indictment of the player's skill anyway. Void ray into warp prism sentry drop isn't remotely new either, it's part of the mixup that stargate allows you to get, you either go two stargate with phoenix or one stargate and robo into a number of options including this. My issue with it is that it requires the zerg player to have adapted ahead of time by making units and positioning in the main base before the warp prism gets across and you can't easily scout the toss base because of the void rays. It's a very very good build but it abuses zerg's lack of stuff that can shoot up and distributed production heavily. You can't react to the warp prism in time because if you spawn everything on your main hatchery they can just pick up and go to the natural and get the ramp there. I don't get it, you guys are protosses, you play against 1-1-1, why don't you get what constitutes a build being abusive and why does my opinion of hating that sort of build irritate you?

This is completely not my experience at all... like 12+ banes and everything for the protoss that's ground dies when the vortex ends. I've had it happen many times to me (i open 2 base mothership into third all pvz's i play, high GM on SEA high masters on KR) and i guarantee you it was the reason why hero, if you watch that game over, intentionally DIDN'T put his archons into the vortex, and instead put them right outside of the vortex to hit the brood lords when they came out. In my opinion archon toilet is fine. in broodwar you'd get punished to hell by storm if you stacked 12 guardians right on top of each other, so zergs got used to making a large concave with them so only 1-2 would get hit by storms. zergs will eventually learn a similar response to the archon toilet in sc2 if they want to continue to go broods against late game protoss, so only max of 3 broodlords can get sucked into the toilet. Another thing that a lot of people dont realize is how bad archons can be against big enough numbers of broods without them all being vortexed. Because archons are large units (ie: they only fit through 2-hex gaps, same size as ultralisks and siege tanks), they struggle even more than most units to actually get around the broodlings to be able to get under the broodlords.

Not saying it's undefendable, but it can definitely come down to a coin toss, much like that game. Maybe he should have considered spawning so close to the enemy base when massing drones.

That said, I feel like these sort of strategies rely so heavily on knowing your opponent, those who always go such insane amount of drones asap (like Ret) is most vulnerable to such builds. Most zergs will go for 60+ drones in response to a ffe, so the build would at least do good damage if not win you the game.
