I am 99% sure Ret fungaled the archons so they couldn't get in.

Honest to god probably in large part because of GSL tvp situation. They just dont look quite as practiced as before. That combined with the fact that you're kind of getting a dune scenario with Toss. Gotta be amazing or you just die.
