Jinro vs IdrA hope the series is gonna be epic. Jinro fighting.
hopefuly idra will pwn jinro the cheeser
So if I have this right:
If Idra wins he goes to the finals If Idra loses and Kiwi Wins then Kiwi goes to the finals If both Kiwi and Idra lose then either Jinro or Hwangsin goes to the finals
Socke and Morrow are just playing for seeding in the finals/playoffs
Softball will probably be a walkover again(Although they have been announcing them in the topics and didn't do so here) If Sjow were to lose I think he might be at risk of not making the playoffs but probably still would
Clash of the Titans again!!!
Although Jinro hasn't really been performing as well/ consistently as IdrA has...
Hoping for great games, nonetheless
I believe that Idra has the advantage over Jinro, especially given their recent performances, but Jinro has been able to beat Idra as recently as IEM Guangzhou, so it not a heavily favored match for Idra.
Close division. Looking forward to it, too bad I'm going to have to catch the EU broadcast!
Socke fighting!
IdrA> Jinro Morrow < Socke SoftBall < Sjow Kiwikaki > Hwangsin
The only one of those that people might disagree with me on is Morrow/Socke. I admit I'm really biased, but Socke has done really well PVZ recently and Morrow lost to Hwangsin (but did beat Kiwi). I expect it to be 2-1 either way.
Now this is a card worth tuning in to!
I feel like Idra should have this, but Jinro DID win the last time they met... but he won with early pressure. I would think Idra should be more cautious and prepared this time.

If Jinro wins 2-0 and hawngsin wins 2-0, they all have 4-3 with +3 on maps. Don't know how NASL would break that tie.

Overall game wins, then head-to-head.
for Jinro vs idra
game 1: bunker rush either wins it or puts idra far behind so idra loses game 2: normal macro game and idra wins game 3: If macro game then idra wins and if cheese game jinro wins
no i am not saying jinro can't take idra in macro games.
well it's true I doubt jinro can take idra in macro games unless idra falls way behind from early pressure.

Yeah I can't decide who will win that. Morrow and Socke are beasting in ZvP and PvZ respectively.

this is going to be awesome
softball is still playing?
Lets go Idra! do or die for him
Good time, the cheese got destroyed !!!

LOL Idra held that rush off like a true Zerg baller.
crazy triple orbital build from jinro!

Nooooo...
Idra didn't read the situation correctly at all.
Terran'naga caverns is a pretty good map
YEAH IDRA! That engagement went soooo well for him!
IdrA has this game... 200 to 150 food...
EDIT: 1-0 IdrA ^^
that was painful to watch
Well that was a slow, painful death. Jinro kept moving out with a paltry force against a maxed zerg army, of course it's going to get crushed.
idra made that look easy against jinro
omg i wanted to c the chat ffs
They were talking about the version of the map.
Idra wanted to know if it was the Crevasse with the rich vespene gayser,
Oh boy! The non gretorp caster really loves Idra.

Ugh, please get roaches just so you can get that base up.
EDIT: Yeah, Brood War-style fourth base.
Uh who's the other caster o.o

Orb.

holy crap, idra is looking so good at his zvt
Wow IdrA crushes through game 1 and is dominating g2
Why was Idra building a new pool? Did they miss a drop?
IdrA's staying on this muta tech for way too long...
kind of annoying for casters to keep saying idra is "WAY" ahead when the game has been neck and neck from the 5 minute mark
United States15275 Posts
Annoying that Idra is not using hive tech 30 minutes into a game.
IdrA >>> Jinro this match.
Such an easy 2-0, I was kinda surprised. Even with IdrA playing a bit sloppy towards the end there.
Looks like Jinro had quite a bit of latency issues lol
o.o wow well uh I thought Jinro had a few strong positions but somehow IdrA won... anywho gj idra!

Yeah I've never seen a terran whiff so badly on EMPs before.

wp by idra good fungals there at the end
Unless I'm mistaken about some of the standings/points, both MorroW and IdrA have 100% qualified for the finals.
EDIT: Yeah, only Kiwikaki can match Idra in W/L now, but his points are much lower.
Who did you all liquibet on this match? It was such a hard decision for me.

Also Socke has been slacking lately, I believe he doesnt play that much atm.

I thought Socke was practicing for Battle in Berlin or something, good thing I voted on morrow (I think)

I'm playing Skyrim on 1 Monitor, glanced at the Morrow game on the other and saw his creep covering half the map at 8 minutes and just laughed for some reason.

Socke because I stand to make more e-dollars off of him.
On November 12 2011 11:54 cold- wrote: socke because i hate morrow How can you say that about a guy with such a ZvP? I would not claim its the best in the world, but it is the most beautiful one imo.

Wtf? Did morrow hold that attack so easily? They were on roughly equal supply and he had like 6 overlords full of units of to drop in sockes base. I guess upgrades are really really good.

You laughed because Morrow's creep spread is stupidly delicious.

What's with all this talk about potato chips? Maybe he'll take one - and eat it!

I can't tell if I'm watching Socke or Horang2.

LOL The good old "i slam down a bunch of gateways and kill him" build
Morrow misread the build and expected DTs I guess.
double stargate better than the auto loss 1 stargate transition
Come on socke, you got the natural and you scout the counter attack and you don't try to stop it -------------------------------------------------.-------------------------
oh morrow you beast
omg the lack of 1 sentrie / 2 forcefields decided a game.
manner creeping

He tried to pull a Keen, but this isn't the type of map to do that on.
Small note: you accidentally put the results of one match of the Morrow/Socke series in a non-spoilered position in the OP.

I hope to god Softball's macro is a product of lag.
well softball is rather underwhelming to watch =S
hwangsin has very good mico

was the jinro vs idra series worth watching ?

Don't know if they noticed, but they spoiled game 2 of Socke vs Morrow in the OP
Just noticed that this season from 4 Swedes, they got 3 in the same group. That was a bit unfortunate.
Game 2 Idra vs. Jinro was pretty awesome. Great engagements from both, great micro. Jinro lost, but in that game he looked like a Korean-trained player. Good ghost play, really I think he'd have won if he pushed a 5th after getting the fourth. Getting the fourth was just so hard it seemed Jinro didn't realize he needed a 5th right away rather than after a maxxing.
