I just had a look. Around when he started the attack on the gold, he sent a probe to place a pylon on the low ground, then sent it straight into the main to place a pylon in the main. That finished around the same time as the DTs started heading towards the main Nestea seems too have sent some Zerglings, but too late Aye.
The second warp in started before Pylon#2 finished. That pylon granted the vision that a single probe could not have due to short life spam altho the DTs could have done that anyway. BrofessorT sends his lings to get the low ground pylon to prevent more warp ins, which minimized the damage best he could. The second round of DTs actually didn't really matter. I guess he killed everything quicker but the damage was done by not having a spore in his main
Always amazing what 3 DTs can do.

It's the playoffs, there's money and major pride on the line so yes. Also IM won the first team league and took 2nd in the second one so there was certainly pressure on them to make it top two again. Although everyone played a little wonky during the regular season playoffs are pretty serious, everyone definitely did their best , hell IMmvp did the 111 which he hates to try and secure a win. It's not really that serious though. The money on the line is pretty trivial compared to Code S, so a lot of the top players probably don't really practice all that much for GSTL specifically. It makes sense too, since the usual dominant players don't really perform that well in GSTL.
Considering that most Korean teams are having a hard time getting by money wise and the low amount of high profile sc2 tournaments in Korea I'm guessing teams are doing their best.
Not to mention it's a great opportunity to show your team off to sponsors and potential sponsors.
I can't imagine any reason not to take the GSTL really seriously

Mistakes shouldn't be a factor in balance.

WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT?
I went to bed after IM was up 3-0 because I figured "DRG is good but I don't think he can all kill IM this is pretty much over" can't believe I missed the rest.

Yeah...watch the game develop. An unknown Toss beats the two best players in the world in rather unorthodox fashion, holding off one all-in and exploiting a major mistake in the second game. Clearly, toss seems to catch up to terra and zerg. Watch the game develop. If Korean toss repeat what tails, JYP, Sage and twilight managed today, then complaints about imbalanced at the highest stages of the game are irrelevant. But still, korean toss were struggling for months, not just one day

I never thought PvT was imbalanced, but the PvZ against a good zerg is almost impossible.

Wow I did not expect MVP to pull out a win.
How did Tails win against IMMVP and Nestea?

I can't imagine any reason not to take the GSTL really seriously The big issue is that Code S is so much more important. We saw earlier this season the best players on teams weren't playing because they were saving strats and prepping for late season code S.
I also think Gom's exclusive tourney rights increase the value of GSTL. Its the only place none Code A/S players can really show off over there. This means that the best players are less interested in GSTL, and the up and comers are very interested. Its a weird dynamic.

It's funny because zerg think they're underpowered...............SO THEY GET BUFFED! It's funny because protoss think they're underpowered............SO THEY ALSO GOT BUFFED!
Are you normally this wrong or do you make an exception?

Oh Nestea and MVP lost 1 game to a protoss! PROTOSS IS NOT UNDERPOWERED AT ALL. The best players lost ONE game. ONE!!!!!!
Seriously, we need some sort of intelligence test or something on these forums

You have units that can end the game if someone doesn't have detection. We've seen the best players in the world get caught without detection and lose games. It happens, when under pressure, even the best players can make mistakes or be a few seconds too late. When you have units that are so powerful that they can punish such a small mistake so heavily, it's hard to say Protoss is UP.

Tails sems like a sick motherfucker. Not many men can say that they beat both MVP and Nestea in a single day.

How did Tails win against IMMVP and Nestea?
I'll put it in a spoiler
+ Show Spoiler +MVP: He started with a 2-stalker rush to put some pressure on, and expanded behind it. MVP was going for the marine/tank/banshee with cloak variant of the all-in, but Tails dropped a robo after, and was able to get out observers to catch the cloakshees. As soon as he saw he all-in, he started to pump out immortals and threw down more gates, to a total of 6, while he sent a few sentries and stalkers to stall the push. He held the first attack well, and started to pump out lotsa zealots and phoenix to counter the banshees (there were like 6 at that point) and when the next attack came, he rolled it for the win
Nestea: He got 3 DTs in Nestea's main, as well as being able to warp in a pylon in the main. 6 DTs took out the main hatch before it could mutate into a lair. Nestea went for a massive drop of roaches, and reinforced with roach/hydra for the second drop. Tails held, and started colossus production. Nestea went for a third drop, but Tails blinked right under the overlords and sniped a lot of them, then rolled over expansions for the win
