Protoss has been crying for months about how to hold an all in, saying its imbalanced. Everyone kept whining about everything, mules marines tanks banshees. Now theres a build that defeats it and we saw that mvp executed his 111 pretty dam well and toss made quite a few micro mistakes but still held it, do you still think that 1 1 1 is imbalanced?
Don't try to pull the statistics card. It dosen't work in this situation since the play was textbook from both players and we now know the 1 1 1 can be held off pretty easily.
All Z v P today ended in favour of the protoss, and the other protosses have been doing well with new styles. Time for new build was what protoss needed, not" oh protoss is so weak, i wanna change race and i hate this game", which is frankly what i saw everyday on LRs.
I have been rooting for protoss during this bad period but i always thought what they needed was new strategies and not try the same shit every game and complain.

I'd like to add a few things as well. My God, Tastosis were on the ball today. In fact, they have been for a while now. There may have been a slump for a bit, but they have totally stepped it up. I loved today, and that was no small part to them.
Next, i wanna give Tails even more credit for that all-in hold, because almost every part of that was reactionary. The 2-stalker rush was awesome to put a bit of pressure on, but he followed up perfectly. He kept his money high so he could react to what he saw in MVPs base, and did it exactly like he needed to. Not over-making immortals to make sure he constantly had observers (he had at least 2 ALL the time.) The Stargate was a perfect counter, after he saw how many banshees were left.
Yeah, he should have made sure his zealots were in the front, but my god the rest was almost perfect

srsly, that was a weak 1-1-1 and the toss played almost perfektly, and the big micro mistake happened when the game was over.

MC held off pumas 1/1/1 in IEM and it was his followup that fucked him up. JYP held of MKPs 1/1/1 in ups and down but was too late cause he already lost like 10+ probes to hellions before the attack. Its not like it was impossible to hold it off. Tails is not even one of the best in macro/micro and he held MVPs 111 off with PLENTY TO SPARE. In fact, i argue that it was his contain and delay that made him hold it off successfully. And if this game was played out before the patch, he would still have held it albeit with slightly more losses.
Anyways if your gonna just shut me off with statements like that, theres no point convincing you since people always see what they wanna see. I could change my views if you tried reasoning but i can't be bothered. Gonna go ladder :D

IM played a really bad rotation order.
Why on earth would you play YongHwa and Losira against DRG? Losira's ZvZ is nothing amazing, and YongHwa really would have a hard time beating someone like DRG who's ZvP is awesome.
I don't understand why they didn't play MVP or NesTea against DRG sooner--- they are playing to win I would think, not just to expose other players on their team? If they had taken out DRG sooner they would have had 5 players to pit against Tails, and as good as Tails might have shown to be I really don't think he could have all-killed 5 solid players (with MVP or NesTea as ace depending on who beat DRG). This is assuming MVP/NesTea would have beaten DRG, which I would think is very likely, MVP who has the best TvZ, and NesTea with the Jaedong-esque ZvZ win ratio.
Also, glad to see Happy perform so solidly, always knew he was a really good Terran.

DRG's ZvP is actually his worst matchup. DRG's ZvT is his best where he is known as the "Terran killer".

It wasn't a DT rush persay, he got his expansion first, then teched to it. Think it was reactionary to Nestea taking a quick gold

Tails held off an all in by M V P and beat my favorite player after Nestea took a super fast third at the gold. I mean what more do you want for it to count? Tails to kill one of his starting probes?
