Just because he's decided to play a macro game doesn't actually mean he can play it. Statement might still be valid.
Also, I really don't get why he's not 1/1/1ing here. He's shown that he's willing to 1/1/1 even on Terminus, He's already sold his soul, I don't understand why he's not going all the way and just going 1/1/1 again. That'd really be the haters gonna hate route.

The problem is the flexibility, theyc an scout what you are doing and counter it easily. If you get a fast expo, they pressure and force the cancel if you go 1 base heavy they just expand and you cna't do nothign about it and you cna't expand ebcuase he will rape you with the attack shortly after. So basically, i think that toss hsould start hding expansions and praying for the best,
