Hello DC again! Its time for another Tournament!. This time we are doing things a bit differently. Screw online, everyone must show up to play and win or (lose  ). We are going to run two tournaments concurrently.
First off we have the Grand Tournament. This is a LAN event, all participants must show up as early as possible so we can start the brackets. This is going to be a double elimination. Prize Pool is divided the following way: First place gets 150$, Second gets 75$, Third will get 50$, and Forth gets 25$ and a cookie.
Secondly we have the CasualCraft Tournament, where all diamond and below are welcome to join for a fun game of random StarCraft. Everyone entering CasualCraft must play random race and upon starting the game must do the following 2 steps. Call out his opponent with a random greeting, then must set out a restriction which must be followed though out the game. An allude to funday mondays! To Register for CasualCraft, please select the “Casual” option. The prize for the winner of CasualCraft is the Razer™ Spectre mouse!
Fees: All players are subjected to the $10 all day pass that must be bought before you take a computer. Spectators are free to come and enjoy all the fun.
Location: The tournament is going to be hosted at the same place, Netolic. If you are going to have trouble getting to the PC Center, please let the organizers know below.
Showtime is on the Fifth of November 12PM, be there early to catch some lunch and prepare your keyboard and mouse. The place is open 24 hours.

This is a great LAN center and Maka ran a great tournament last time. I highly recommend.

I'm a diamond player in the DC area, but I'm not as interested in a funday monday-style tournament, but worry that if I do the Grand tournament, I'd be the only diamond with a bunch of Masters. Would the competition be too stiff for it to be worth competing in the Grand tourney?

bump! This is happening next week. in the future it might be a better idea to post in the community section so it doesn't get buried as fast as local lans are more of a community event anyway.

I'll be there... Working on NanMan to join me but real life is sometimes a bitch to deal with... Hopefully i dont need to chrono-boost my 15 minute late arrival this time... But I prolly will....

I had a wonderful time yesturday @ the dc tourn hosted by maka. Thx to maka and everyone who helped organinze and make the event run i had a great time. Congrats to Avilotits, thats why we gave him a slot on the elusive tits gaming. Met lots of new people and lots of people if have already met before, but once again thx everyone for making the event happen. Any one who met me wanna add me on B.net Hooktits.619 msg me sometime k thx
Edit: OMG i almost frogot, thx to hanna For the super aweasomest cookies. I love cookies almost as much as i love sc2, especially chocolate chip and i must say i give those cookies 2 thumbs up so thx so much.
