4 day event, games played for 10 hours or more each day. Cheapest ticket price is 50 USD. Hotel rate is roughly 600 USD. If you share a room and stay 5 nights, that comes out to 60 USD per person per night. If you split the room 3 or 4 ways, even cheaper.
All together it comes to under 400 USD for 5 nights in Atlantic City and 4 days of games if you go with a friend AND you get a loot bag if you order online now.
If you're good at poker, you can make that up in one evening at a table.
Expensive is fairly relative in this case, me thinks -- if you consider it a vacation, it's pretty inexpensive.

I was with you until that line. Don't encourage me to gamble my life away plz
EDIT: But I do agree. It is an inexpensive vacation in a generally expensive location. And there are a ton of things to do in AC.

No one really plays poker at Caesar's or any casino in that area of AC. You'd have to drive/taxi to the Taj or Borgata to get some decent games.
The influx of nerds for this specific weekend may change that though.

Bought tickets! A friend and I are coming over from Ireland for two week America holiday. A reason to re-visit New York, and have a four day starcraft event. I'm pretty damn excited.

I'm watching the qualifier but I can't find the qualifier brackets anywhere?
|
So when are you revealing the last invited player?
|
Wow awesome list of invited players. Definitely some crowd bringers on that list.

Oh my god, so happy for Ryung. That guy is definitely lacking recognition despite his beautiful plays. As for the other player, it seems that at the live venue, nobody will get out alive. Too bad Socke didn't make it, though. But I guess that's just the difference in training.

Nestea has to be the last invite (going back on my previous post).
We are awaiting on his response to MLG's invite, so it must be he is just slow on responding to these invites. Which lends support to the last invite being Nestea and him taking his time to respond to it.

Holy fucking asspie the second game of QXC vs SlayerS was insane... top 3 or 5 TvZ game of all time.
Haven't seen a endgame like that ever to be honest, always ends premature + Show Spoiler +when either the zerg get timed attacked, tanks die to unsiege at wrong time, broodlords get swarmed by vikings or vikings get fungalad.

Are there VOD's of the games?
