What did you expect? They don't know any better. Just roll with it.
Boxer has some of the most obsessed fans ever and after a match v IdrA ironically there's always fanboy accusations thrown towards anybody who actually wants IdrA to win. Honestly, BoxeR will get crushed by any competent Zerg. He can't hold a prolonged macro game.
Not to take anything away from him but yes, IdrA did play so much worse than his potential there, plus the fact that BoxeR knows exactly how to take down IdrA.

What is with the emperor? he was a formidabble BW player, and now he is a mediocre SC 2 terran who won with a timing attack and a marine ball. of course, Idra shouldnt use this reactive baneling style
So many people dont respect the legends...Boxer is the reason this weekend EXISTS. Im just getting tired of great events like Boxer vs YellOw and seeing tons of comments like "LOL who are these noobs!!?! lets get a destiny vs spanishwa instead!!!11!"
Shut the fuck up about disrespecting the Legends. Just shut up. I said he was formidable, but now he is mediocre. That's all there is to it. I said nothing to disrespect Boxer there, unless you want to take what i saiud ofensive of course. But that's what he is now.
Funny how the player that you're a fanboy of lost to that "mediocre" player.
He is mediocre by Korean standards. What did i say earlier? I said that Idra needed earlier banelings. he saw the rax with his ling run by for Gods sake! I critisized both players. None of them showed any skill ther imo. Except the nice timing attack by Boxer and the amazing defence of Idra in g2

I mean, if he's up against your favourite player I can understand hoping he loses, but just hoping he loses in general?
I didn't even follow BW that closely and it disgusts me, I can't imagine how it makes you die-hard BW fans feel >.>
I didn't watch any BW during boxer's time, but tbqh i would love to see things other then these atks all the time out of him vs zerg players.
Wow ... sure ... he should try something that doesnt win him games, that makes perfect sense.
GG by Boxer, they were well played attacks and he used good timings.
Idra, stayed on lings to long IMO. Behind the hellion attacks Boxer was just massing a ball of marines which won in the end.
Did you see terrans doing bunker pressure all the time vs zergs in BW? How often for that matter do you see any cheese out of BW players? What i am saying is I personally would rather have him win other ways then these cheese/strong early game timings.
He's pressuring as he expands...do you have any clue how TvZ is supposed to be played and to a greater degree, how Starcraft is supposed to be played?
pretty sure on 2 base when bringing whole army he is looking to kill him because Idra did way overdrone or exchange armys, and i did not see a 3rd coming up for boxer and i am pretty sure that would be a early third if so.
There was a CC almost done by the time the push hit Idras base. I guess you weren't watching it. He needed to threaten and do some damage in order to secure his third. It just happened that he could kill Idra so he did.
Boxer had just lost a huge portion of his workers. Right after his heavy loss instead of refilling his worker count he puts down production facilities designed for that big push. In other words, it was a huge investment and he would have little to fall back on if it failed.
Boxer doesn't play zerg, making production structures and units does not stop him from making works out of the two command centers he had (and later the third one he was making at the same)

If he spoke English, was prolific on podcasts and made for good storylines, maybe I would. But IdrA speaks my language, I can hear from him weekly and he has an amusing personality.

You mean nothing more than better tech and one more base than IdrA...10 workers down isn't that bad when you have mules lol
Boxer cut workers for the push Idra continued to make workers
I think it's pretty clear that it fits the definition of cheese at that point: Cheese most often refers to an unexpected strategy that relies in large parts on lack of information and/or psychological impact on the opponent.
