Yeah I totally agree.
People are gonna be at him for years for saying that EU ladder sucks, but compared to Korean progaming... Yeah I bet it does. Honestly I'm surprised he was so calm and composed during the circumstances. I'd have gone all out emo to be honest.

2-3 in the finals, being a total nervwreck, doubling the supply, and then getting his obs sniped and mauled by DTs into instant loss..
And then for an instant interview.

hes a douche for insulting his own practice partners, it was pretty awkward considering most of them were in that room

wait, Idk who won the results are messed up in the OP. So Naniwa won, or Huk did?

In actual games it was 4-1, since Naniwa got a free win coming from the winners bracket.

To be honest having everyone be so honest and willing to enjoy themselves and make the event enjoyable for others is even more awesome because they were doing in spite of lackluster english skills. As anyone who has ever studied a foreign language can tell you, it can be very awkward to speak if you don't feel confident, and often people will outright refuse to say anything.

So great job everyone, great casting!

Yes, I totally agree with you. There were also complaints at last HSC - TaKe knows very well that his english isn't the best, but man he tries, he does everything he can, he wants to give US an awesome tournament and he did it again. It's even more awesome that he did it despite his lack of english skills sometimes.
I mean - you could hear it in his voice in the end, he was so excited, it must be an incredible feeling that those are the last words coming out of your mouth after plannig, organizing, hosting, casting etc. a whole tournament...

Overall Take invested 50k Euro in this tournament. 25k from a credit.

I literally watched every episode of his "show me your flat" on youtube, where he documented the work at the apartment. Awesome to see how it worked out and how everbody enjoyed it. chapo take!

If there is one thing i've learned from this amazing tournament, it's that Naniwa is going to be unstoppable once he's settled in Korea, he seriously crushed HuK and MC, two players who are considered the best in the world, and he has none of that fancy pants Korean training yet

Can't wait to see what he's capable of.
We make signature, then defense it.

Very enjoyable tournament overall! Thanks to the casual concept, it felt a lot more personal than the bigger competitions (MLG, DH, GSL etc.).
I loved the changing casters with their analytical casting as well as the flawless production. Despite a minor delay at the very beginning and a short breakdown of the free stream (which was almost immediately fixed) everything went smoothly.

...and the hd-stream was quite enjoyable. You were able to read the food- and resource-count in the upper right corner! (Yes, I'm looking at you, MLG ;-) )

I actually really enjoy take's interview style and the questions he asks. Haters need to stfu.

Excellent tournament, I loved having all the players in such a close, intimate setting.

Awesome job take and everyone involved!

LOL, yea, beacuse they all are happy when they loose and think that EU is better than KR.

Well as Shankley said "show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser."

For all people who are calling Nani a loser, we should have a Spycam pointed in their face after they've lost to a 6-Pool or a DT rush.

Or after losing in the finals of a tournament the same caliber as HSC. Oh wait.

Lol what are you talking about? He's pretty much the best protoss, maybe even player in EU,so hes really got nothing new more to learn here in EU,hes better off in Korea if he wants to be the best.Him saying that EU sucks,he probably meant the ladder.
