Game 1, Losira could have ended the game very early but his lings were out of position, and engaged with half his army. Then he loses his infestors every single encounter. Game 2 was just atrocious; terrible decision making and micro. Game 3 both players made a lot of mistakes, but Losira simply made the bigger mistakes. But I have to bring this up again, why do world class progamers use 1 control group? So many top-tier players make mistakes like Losira's a-move infestors that just come down to, well, being lazy.

He will not be a pushover at all against nada, I still slightly favor nada but it will be a good series for sure.

Losira said in an interview with artosis that he picked Zerg because it takes very little micro and you can just a-move everything. Looks like that's what he did ![]()

There was so much whine about short engagements in the "What is SC2 lacking?" thread, and then we get an insane 15 minute long fight with no stopping, and people complain that he didn't tech enough? You can show plenty of skill with marines/lings/banes. Game 1 was one of the best SC2 games I've ever seen. The other 2 were pretty bad, but hey that's ZvT.

On the topic of the day: Zerg players have by far the worst unit control on the pro circuit (on average, obviously there are exceptions).

Agree but pretty much every protoss clumps their units such that their zealots are always stuck behind stalkers. That's kind of a big deal...

Personality could be a major factor in why someone plays/doesn't play a certain race. Just for arguments sake. There was a Brood War psychological study that seemed to conclude that your personality type DID affect which race you chose. If I recall (and these are gross over simplifications), protoss roughly = outgoing, zerg roughly = eccentric, terran roughly = pessimistic/self-critical (or something like that). Anyway, interesting study

On the topic of the day: Zerg players have by far the worst unit control on the pro circuit (on average, obviously there are exceptions). that post is just crap... Just because most of the zerg units dont have funky blink,FF,stim and whatever micro abilities that doesn't mean zergs have bad unit control. baneling splits take more micro than marine splits burrow micro is at least as hard as blink micro, but way less effective (not a QQ, just a fact why we don't see a lot of fancy roach burrow micro...) muta harass takes a lot of micro unit spreading takes a lot of micro injecting during a battle takes some micro (and a lot of focus) imo opinion some of the zerg players have the best micro of all (and must have, because clumping ur mutas or banelings, getting your army split by FFs and stuff like that lets you lose the game instantly)
