Nada is still my pick to win this season. He's just looking very solid.

If you watched those games and didn't know Losira was playing, there is no way you would have thought one of the top 3 zergs in the world was playing. Objectively speaking, he made major mistakes that cost him games while Sc did not.

Game 1, Losira could have ended the game very early but his lings were out of position, and engaged with half his army. Then he loses his infestors every single encounter. Game 2 was just atrocious; terrible decision making and micro. Game 3 both players made a lot of mistakes, but Losira simply made the bigger mistakes.

But I have to bring this up again, why do world class progamers use 1 control group? So many top-tier players make mistakes like Losira's a-move infestors that just come down to, well, being lazy.

Ahhhhh Zerg tears, least they get somewhat drowned out by people standing up to them these days. sC is a top Terran, deal with it. I knew it from his series vs sanzenith last season, ro8 and ro4 this season, 2nd in fxo open, constantly near the top of the KR ladder, he's just constantly performing, get over it!
He will not be a pushover at all against nada, I still slightly favor nada but it will be a good series for sure.

Losira said in an interview with artosis that he picked Zerg because it takes very little micro and you can just a-move everything. Looks like that's what he did

I loved game 1. It was insane.

There was so much whine about short engagements in the "What is SC2 lacking?" thread, and then we get an insane 15 minute long fight with no stopping, and people complain that he didn't tech enough?

You can show plenty of skill with marines/lings/banes.

Game 1 was one of the best SC2 games I've ever seen. The other 2 were pretty bad, but hey that's ZvT.

I'm calling Inca to win the whole thing. It's written in the stars after that ludicrous game against Rain.

On the topic of the day: Zerg players have by far the worst unit control on the pro circuit (on average, obviously there are exceptions).

Agree but pretty much every protoss clumps their units such that their zealots are always stuck behind stalkers. That's kind of a big deal...

Yes certainly true. I'd have it as Terran > Protoss > Zerg. I think the level of unit control in general is pretty appalling though. Stuck zealots, templar/infestors walking into deathballs. Even Terran players, despite having it easy with all ranged units, don't impress me at all with attempted viking/collo snipes and such.

Big area of improvement for pros to make IMO.

SC vs Losira game 1 was damn good. Freaking 10 minutes of solid aggression, so crazy.

Why is it that I sense 99% of QQ'ers in this thread play zerg?

If it's not cheese that you're crying about, it's something about your race. When a zerg wins, it's "perfect play" that outplays his opponent.

Its funny how people imply that the majority of people who play zerg are qq'ers by nature. The reason why so many zerg's qq must be because there must be an issue in balance with the race.

Or because they have a role model who shares his opinions freely.

Not that, that discredits what he's saying. But most of these Zergs are just sheep. Whether the game has become balanced or not. They'll blame a Zerg's loss on imbalance 'till their idol says it isn't so.

Sorry If I'm coming across strong :\

lol, your also implying that only certain types of people play zerg based on their personality which is obviously a wrong assumption.

Read my other post, it clears up what you're getting at.
Apologies :X

But even so. Personality could be a major factor in why someone plays/doesn't play a certain race. Just for arguments sake.

There was a Brood War psychological study that seemed to conclude that your personality type DID affect which race you chose. If I recall (and these are gross over simplifications), protoss roughly = outgoing, zerg roughly = eccentric, terran roughly = pessimistic/self-critical (or something like that). Anyway, interesting study

I dont care about the possible unbalance (and yes I play zerg), game 1 between losira and sc was the most action-packed and intense game I've seen in a looooong time!

So sad about Losira (and July). All my hopes (again) on NesTea... it seems he's our Zerg's Neo.
You play to win

that post is just crap... Just because most of the zerg units dont have funky blink,FF,stim and whatever micro abilities that doesn't mean zergs have bad unit control.
baneling splits take more micro than marine splits
burrow micro is at least as hard as blink micro, but way less effective (not a QQ, just a fact why we don't see a lot of fancy roach burrow micro...)
muta harass takes a lot of micro
unit spreading takes a lot of micro
injecting during a battle takes some micro (and a lot of focus)

imo opinion some of the zerg players have the best micro of all (and must have, because clumping ur mutas or banelings, getting your army split by FFs and stuff like that lets you lose the game instantly)

You are kidding, right? :D. His post is certainly wrong but this is just... lol.
I hope a NaDa vs NesTea final but I don't see NaDa beat him if he can't beat July :s.
