That just pisses me off I am sick of zergs thinking that was aggressive play. Where were the drops and Nydus Worms? Protoss was spread out, you can harass somewhere in that situation
If Morrow had drop tech when he was pushing along the bottom lane into Hasu's nat he could so easily have dropped the main and snipped half of Hasu's production facilities. He really needed drop tech.
Without drop tech Morrow had no choice but to attack into the nat (or the back of the 3rd which is just as much of a choke). FFs allow toss to turtle pretty hard and on metalopolis the bases are just too close together to exploit any immobility on the part of the tosses army. Being 60 supply up really doesn't help if the only places you can attack (wihtout drop tech or nydus I admit) is into a choke, FF'd created or otherwise.

Broken match up. no offense but terran has to harass in every matchup to stand a chance later in game There are also times when protoss has to harass as well you never want to leave your opponent to do whatever they want whatever race they play.

Oh look, preparing for a baneling bust.
Morrow shows again he has 0 confidence with zerg late game units.

And then... you go to the other natural you have? How's a toss going to block two spots at once? By sending out 2 Probes?

This is what Dimaga used against MC right? Fast nexus, he goes ling/bling drops.

Baneling drop eh, too bad it got spotted by a phoenix

Hasu takes his third gas gyser, and drops a cybercore. 6:45 Morrow's drone scout only goes around in circles in the Protoss main. Hasu builds a stargate at his natural instead. Morrow hasn't seen anything. Lair done for Morrow. Voidray being chrono-ed.
Drone eventually sees the stargate just as the void pops. Phoenix being made now. Morrow researching drops, so he can't build queens.

Really? Day9 knows nothing about zerg, you heard it here first everyone. :-/ Really Day9 criticize zergs is painful to watch. He seems to forget the vespene gas costs of units late game. And even at launch, prior to the like 4 straight pro-zerg balance patches he was saying "it's all balanced fine- zergs just aren't playing right." Day9 understands the fundamentals of an RTS very well, but he is not infallible. Or maybe he knows because he played a game that evolved over 12 years I think his criticism of the gas first against protss is way over top.

Cheese incoming. Well, Morrow no longer looks like a solid macro player :/

Ahhhh morrrow doing 2 base ling bling drop! I've been doing this strat for ages vs Protoss FE's, hope he executes it perfectly!
|
Morrow looking pretty fucked right about now
and then he picks everything up and kills the main

As a zerg player, it pains me to see a bunch of whiny zergs trying to make this thread the place to sound off about balance.
Not the place, people.

Hahaha there is one overlord with no units and hasu targets that one :D

Why do people only cite supply? Jesus christ, that's the dumbest thing to look at in something that's not a mirror match. Let's say a Zerg is 200/200 against a 120/200 Protoss. Furthermore, the Zerg has 20 more workers than the toss. Thus, the Zerg has an army that is 60 supply bigger than the Protoss, but what people don't realize is that many zerg units are much cheaper than Protoss units yet cost the same supply - in other words, supply-inefficient. That's why you need to be far more aggressive as Zerg than MorroW was that game, so you don't fall to supply inefficiency. Like others said, you also need to exploit mobility. Why MorroW only attacked into chokes to get FF'd off I don't know. The sad thing is that all these QQers will cover their ears and just go "NO, MORROW COULDN'T HAVE DONE ANYTHING ELSE, WAHH!" without actually looking at Zerg play such as Coca's play that knocked out Ace which took advantage of big drops, or Losira's play which takes advantage of every little hole in the Toss's defense to do pokes.
