So you're using the present as an indicator of what the future will never be?
I haven't seen a PvP I enjoyed in ages, but that first game was actually really cool. I'd love to see more of this Phoenix/Immortal business in the future.

I thought most big-tournament maps disabled close pos on metalopolis?

They gave some thoughts to it during tonights pre-game, I can't recall 100%, but if you have vods.
They just mentioned that they were. They didn't really provide a justification for it.
it's time for foreign protoss to realize that koreans only go 1 base in pvp...

Remember when SC2 was new, and everyone said the skill cap was super low and we'd never see top-level players who were better than other top-level players?
And this is why you don't allow Close positions on metal NASL..... Please consider getting with the times.

what are you talking about? It was all down to scouting. stuff happens in pvp.
Great night of games, things keep improving with the occasional bump.

Well, clearly a patch could change everything.... but as is, without a patch, anything but 4 gate is fool's gold imo
Why didn't they welcome Axslav to the NASL and tell him that squirtle would be his host
Well, a bit of an anticlimactic end after an epic Game 3 of Nada vs dde and an excellent Game 1 of Axslav vs Squirtle. Also, I really like the ridiculously deep analysis of the PvP that iNcontrol is giving. Quite educational.

Not sure why NASL has chosen to use the worse versions of Metal, Taldarim and Terminus when there are much fairer versions available that lead to more entertaining games.

woot 100% on my liquibets... it was a good night!
So the spoilers were wrong? Haha. More power to the NASL for using the original version of this map.

Poor Axslav. Oh well. Great games tonight. Noticeable improvements across the board. Really cool to see it improve day by day.
