Not really ranting, but I feel these things can be improved upon: 1. Gretorp's volume when excited seemed to be more of a problem today than yesterday. 2. When casting with Khaldor, it just seemed very unprofessional not to have someone sitting with Gretorp on the announcer's desk, and Khaldor's mic was terrible. I haven't heard him cast before, but I'm sure this problem can be fixed, because TSL sound quality isn't as bad. Oh and they also got into each others way a lot and seemed to talk over each other. 3. They need to fix the graphics settings and the gamma turned down. Especially in the last game between Ensnare and Incontrol, the brightness suddenly seemed too unbearable. 4. Why are they playing on the Tal'darim Altar with the gold? It just doesn't make sense to be honest. I mean I can accept Backwater Gulch being in the map pool as people can practise it on the ladder. But now with Tal'darim having 3 different versions in different leagues (GSL, TSL and NASL) use different versions, it can get quite annoying to practise on I'm assuming. Sure it's not much different than the Ladder version, but it just feels very inconsistent and unnecessary.

This isn't a huge obstacle as I am within a 2 hour driving distance from the studio and my wife is very supportive. 2) I work full time at DivX encoding video (www.divx.com) (I actually set the encodes to go to justin.tv so if the baseline quality is bad you can blame me) 3) I am a partner with youtube now. I do get a substantial amount from ad revenue but no where near enough to replace a full time salary. I hope to one day make enough to at least go part time at work (if such a situation would be amenable with my boss) It's somewhat difficult with my work situation as we just went through two major mergers and things still haven't settled out. I am hoping to sneak more days off to work with the NASL. Again thanks for all the support! Keep watching and providing feedback as the NASL team aims to improve with every cast! Heres my feedback: I hate the NASL. So many games, so many good games, there goes my productivity D: D:

Just sounds so ridiculous when you call clearly bad games "epic" and try to find words for the epicness when everyone else just thinks it was boring and full of flaws. It doesn't take away from the league when u call out bad play or bad games. Stop making up epicness.

I see several post descring the events that allegedly lead to Strelok being offered a WO, but no source of said information. I find it hard to believe that Naniwa didn't show up for his game with Strelok. Yesterday Nani had to excuse himself from providing commentary on some of the games in Rakaka's Road to Korea tournament due to him having a scheduled NASL match. That might not have been the Strelok match of course, it's not like I know anything. However, I must say that if he was prevented from playing the game due to..let's say connection related problems or other technical difficulties it would be pretty poor to treat it as a walkover. I mean, shit you have no control over happens.

And he even chose to engage like 20 seconds before he hit 3-3. I honestly can't make any sense of ensnares gameplan there. He was so far ahead that he could have teched to basically anything, staying on pure bio until you're almost maxed is just odd. This sort of mass bio play won't work unless you can get some EMPs on the sentries and engage spread out in an open field. He attacked in a ball, against a wall, without letting upgrades finish and without waiting for his ghosts. It was pretty bad. WP by incontrol in the first and third game though.

Once he'd pulled back after his first MM push he looked like he didn't have any strategy at all.. which in a strategy game is a bad thing.

For a new tournament you want to build up excitement and awareness, a lot of people don't have the time to watch the live or re-stream, they will get disengaged with the tournament if they miss too much. Plug the vods with adds, everyone will understand that. But just keeping them for a select group is hardly understandable for something as big and new as this. Besides that, with my busy schedule i've to say im enjoying the matches i got to watch thus far. Its a great event and can't wait to see how it developes when the stakes get higher. Although i would like to see more interaction, more accesibility to the organisation. A community manager would be great, someone who takes the time to respond on the questions and is here to create understanding for the problems that sometimes occur. A quick and adequate responds to overpowering situations like Lag, delays, technical hickups will create a lot of goodwill amongst the viewers. Like we all learned at college; a complaint is a commercial opportunity. Keep it up guys, while trying to improve!

I think you can watch the first game only, then you have to pay. Think they even removed the option to watch the first game though.
