Saying that destructible rocks are good? Sigh, I totally disagree. =S Still, hoping that the games are going to be good.

I almost feel like the NASL might be paying off these players in order to create drama around the tournament.

I have no idea what you are implying; or how that could make sense in your head? NASL is paying players to not show up for matches to create drama? You honestly believe that could be true!?

Strange.

Sure. If Naniwa or Whitera wanted a cheap hundred with the added bonus of gaining fame (whitera needs it; he hasn't been doing too hot lately, until DH, and if my hypothesis is true, they likely made the deal before DH), they could easily take this. Besides, this makes for better matches in future rounds, where July and Strelok now play players that have already proved themselves. It's almost like a seed situation.

I am not saying that this is true, or even that this is what I believe to have happened, but we shouldn't rule it out. Furthermore, we will never know, or at least not find out for a really long time, as Inc would never fess up to this.

Do you also believe the TSL paid off the Koreans to lose in the Ro32 in order to create drama and buzz? Because that's about as likely with this sort of logic.

Not in the TSL, but it's not uncommon. Read up.

I suppose you may think the CIA is cruising this forum, so i'll keep this quick :p

There are perfectly plausible explanations for what happened both cases; both realistic and both understandable. But if it keeps things entertaining we can come up with conspiracy theories

If by "not uncommon" you mean "a select few players did it ages ago" then you're right. And they did it to make money for the huge gambling market on the games, something that as far as I know no SC2 tournament has as of yet.

I just wish the golds had no rocks. They're so dangerous to take anyway that delaying them with rocks disallows the gamble of taking the gold early.

People need to stop digging, stop trying to be the person to "figure things out". We all know there were matches fixed in BW. It's a sensitive subject. You don't just go and assume things when you weren't in the players position. WhiteRA was in a completely different country , probably with his head in a completely different place. The people jumping the gun and making just plain stupid assumptions (because face it, you're acting stupid) are the ones creating the drama. NASL is sticking to it's rules, which makes it even more professional. In Football, you think if a team doesn't show up on time and the other team waits 4 friggin hours for them to show up, they wouldn't be DQ'd? Once again, you are just jumping the gun making retarded assumptions trying to discredit a great league for no good reason at all.

What you SHOULD be doing is turning on the stream and enjoying the games for what they are. If you don't like the casters- mute the stream. If you don't like the sound quality/video quality- don't WATCH the stream- or pay for the HD pass. It upsets me greatly that nearly everyone has something to complain about these days, makes me feel like the community I'm apart of really isn't as great as it used to be. Did Starcraft 2 really bring in a totally new crowd of people that just have to shit on everything? Because that's definitely what it's starting to seem like.

All Matches are Best-of-3 Series
Map Order: Backwater Gulch, Tal'Darim Altar, Metalopolis

Match 1: (P)dignitas.NaNiwa vs (T)mouz.Strelok
Match 2: (Z)FXOmOOnGLaDe vs (Z)ROOT.SLush
Match 3: (T)FnaticMSI.KawaiiRice vs (Z)TLAF-Liquid`Haypro
Match 4: (T)sixjax.dde vs (T)oGs.NaDa
Match 5: (P)ST.Squirtle vs (P)EG.Axslav

Backwater again, not a fan of it. But they use Metalo today, sweet!
One more game, bro's!

And for the thousandth time- this is the pre-game show. They've been doing this every single day. The games do not start until 9pm EST. So yes, it IS time filler. Gives people time to tune in prior to the games.

You do even read the schedule right? First 30min of the start of the broadcast is the pre-game show. Stop complaining, either wait it out or don't turn till 30min later when the games start.

So they're gonna do this map talk every single broadcast day for 10 weeks? I feel kind of sorry for them :s

Why do people hate Backwater so?

They need more variety in the maps :/ The same 3 maps every single game is...wrong....

No, it's not the only thing they talk about. You hear them talking about players now, right?

THAT WAS FUCKING AMAZING NADA SHOWING WHY HE IS THE GENIUS TERRAN OMG , after his dissapointing displays recently its niice to see him have a come back like this. I think TVT is best suited for koreans in terms of lag its more positional and strategy oriented rather than really micro heavy.
