I almost feel like the NASL might be paying off these players in order to create drama around the tournament.

NASL is paying players to not show up for matches to create drama? You honestly believe that could be true!? Strange.

If Naniwa or Whitera wanted a cheap hundred with the added bonus of gaining fame (whitera needs it; he hasn't been doing too hot lately, until DH, and if my hypothesis is true, they likely made the deal before DH), they could easily take this. Besides, this makes for better matches in future rounds, where July and Strelok now play players that have already proved themselves. It's almost like a seed situation. I am not saying that this is true, or even that this is what I believe to have happened, but we shouldn't rule it out. Furthermore, we will never know, or at least not find out for a really long time, as Inc would never fess up to this.

Do you also believe the TSL paid off the Koreans to lose in the Ro32 in order to create drama and buzz? Because that's about as likely with this sort of logic.

What, don't you know that all the matches in every tournament are fixed? MC couldn't have won anything if the other players weren't paid off to lose.
