And as a T player, I actually learned something useful against protoss, this is to make 3 or 4 raxes very quickly, without reactor (the reactor just create a too big timing window for a 3 gate or 4 gating toss). This way you have a powerful early defense against nearly everything (need to see it against the MC's "sentry push" tho) Then you can add techlabs when you're stabilized. I will definitely copy that.

Zealot + sentry combo was a terrible idea for MC, because MKP basically out-micro'd that very easily. If MC had prepared just a little, he would know that MKP's marine micro is one of the best. I agree that he likely got overconfident and didn't practice enough (probably thrown off by how MKP hasn't been performing too well lately in tournaments) but MC probably knows that MKP has godly marine micro. I mean, MKP's been known for that since Season 2.

You need the splash damage to handle the incoming mass upgraded marine timing attack. The push with only 2 base while being behind was an awful decision though.

MVP beat San two games due to San's failed 4 gates (which were weird strats, considering san is better at late game macro). Game 2 on Shakuras, MVP did a VERY strong tank-marauder-marine-bunker push. But he didn't know san managed to power up hard on 2 bases (he got almost everything - zealots, stalkers, sentries, colossus, phoenixes) and because of that san managed to kill the push and from there was always ahead. It was basically siege tank marauder marine medivac vs gateway units, colossus, HT and occasional DTs and immortals for the rest of the game. Game 4, san got ahead very fast due to a DT rush and some battles going in his favor. In fact he was pretty far ahead, getting a better economy, tech and upgrades. But somehow or rather within 30 seconds, MVP marauder dropped to destroy templar archives, killed a lot of probes with hellions and then won a key battle with probably the most perfect micro ever, and san instantly gg-ed. (it's almost like an mixed martial arts where the guy who won was outwrestled by his opponent the whole match and within a couple of seconds he locks on an armbar for an instant tap out)

He had already lost at that point he was lucky to have held at all. You cant pick apart his play as if it was a planned build after that. He isnt going to get back into the game by building gateway units and he already had colossus tech so its a no brainer.

MKP v MC. The person who ended up doing the all-in strat got crushed. MKP started finding success when he starts going standard macro. I like this trend.

Not to mention TvT meta has evolved since the season 3 finals. MVP lost some TvT in recent GSTL against standard play, I'll give MKP a lot more chance this time. (but I still think MVP is the favorite) The team game is different where you dont know who you are going to play and the previous losing team choses the next map to being able to prepare for an opponent you know you are going to face.

Could be possible, MVPs TvT is pretty strong. @TvT finals: we had 2 Zerg GSL Champions while everyone cried "T op!", so i guess having a Terran champion while "P op!" makes sense, somehow.
