This is correct, a lack of possible early aggression from a terran player means that zerg players may freely macro their way to victory on the larger maps.

Except that there have been a ton of TvZs that were just the opposite on these big maps. Terrans were able to deny expos and take map control with multiple simultaneous drops. July just outplayed Nada.

I love how i've heard so many foreigner pros say JulyZerg is terrible, allin, blah blah, when July just chooses the best strategy on the fly, reacting in the moment to what his opponent is doing. Just like Zerg should do. Be extremely reactive.

His skill from BW is really starting to show

No way to pressure. Mutas deny Dropship Harass and The map by itself is too long to walk all the way to the Base.

If you drop multiple bases at once, while having an adequate defense (not just siege tank/marine), then yes you can drop.

Mutas are not THAT fast.

I missed the HUK MVP games, if this is not too OT, could someone just write a few unbiased lines about how the games turned out. Even-uneven? Entertaining? Who was the best player?

HuK went for a lot of early aggression. MVP got punished for it once, but MVP just got the best of HuK. Some poor decision making by HuK cost him a game he might have otherwise had a chance to win.

Not very entertaining, very short games. MVP definitely out played HuK.

Ret vs MMA on Tal'Darim Altar says dropship harass works fine

I disagree. While MM stim timings might not be as effective, banshees, blue flame hellions, drops etc. are still very viable. Also, we can see how MKP did a very strong mech push against Kyrix which can be very hard for Zerg to stop.

Two spine crawlers and a spore allow all early rushes like this to be deflected. Later in the game overlords provide sufficient scouting information. Also, please note that this only applies on very large maps

July is so sick. I love that he mixes his very aggressive style with superb macro. Imo July shows how zerg need to play. Fast upgrades and a hive before the 25 min mark. Fighting high tier terran armies with high tier zerg is the way to go.
