Your logic is not appreciated. Battle.net 2.0 is the enemy we want LAN! Raaaawwwwrrr Select even said himself since the newest patch SC2 has been crashing on him every 20 games or so. Could be new bug.

Not to mention this was the BEST of the BEST for the Koreans and only the best we could muster at the time for the allstars. I mean, the only person from Korea who I felt shouldn't have been there was Anypro, but really there weren't any other "superb" options either. But think about who was on the Foreigner team. While definitely some of the VERY best we have, I would've subbed out a couple. Morrow for Idra Moonglade for Socke Huk for QXC(sorry Huk)

I think he totally metagamed MC because if MC had gone for a standard, fast korean 4gate he woulda been in whitera's base like 20 seconds earlier and whitera would never have held it, but lately MC has been doing these "larger than life" strats where he throws in something awkward like the twilight council that game. Mc pushed out before blink was done and it gave whitera time to chrono enough sentries and immos to hold.

An issue only affecting one player could still be battlenet. I've held LANs (if you can call them that) with games that require persistent connections, and periodically some players have issues. In Team Fortress 2, different people in the same room on the same connection have lost their ability to edit their loadouts. They are still in game, so the connection is working, but the server on Valve's end is mishandling certain clients. Weird things happen when you involve large networks and lots of equipment. Just because it didn't affect everyone doesn't mean it wasn't B.net's fault. But it is always more consistent to have a game running through LAN than through another server. Always.

It's not like they messed that up once, they wasted Huk, Moonglade, and then Jinro before Dimaga? Plus you should reserve a toss to play MVP because of his bad showings against P lately and Nestea and MVP are both very strong vs Z. I don't understand the thought process. I realize this is armchair quarterbacking but honestly it just seems so obvious. Watching the vods I was shocked when they put Huk in. What did they know that we don't. MVP vs Dimaga dropping near the climax of one of the most epic games in memory is an absolute disgrace. Blizzard should be ashamed but that's been said before and nothing is going to change. Dimaga as anchor obviously ended up being a great decision I'd lay more blame on the players not being able to rise to July's level than Artosis's player selection. Huk kept letting zerglings eat up his Sentry numbers and defended with poorly placed forcefields. Jinro just got rolled over by July. July clearly outplayed him. I'm surprised at how badly Jinro got rolled over. moonglade's ZvZ just looked really mediocre against July, but then sending out moonglade is dependent on who Artosis thinks will be the Korean's ace. if it's Nestea, then perhaps Artosis considers Dimaga's ZvZ to be better than moonglade's and wants to save Dimaga for last. if it's MVP, then maybe Artosis would want to save moonglade as a ZvT sniper but Artosis might have also thought that Dimaga's ZvT style of ling/infestor/ultralisk might be unexpected and throw MVP off.

Hell, we saw White Ra OUTPLAY MC. Sure it was PvP, but how can you explain Dimaga vs MVP(showing that Dimaga can match with even the best), or Sen vs Marineking Prime? Who would have been sweet to have would have been Mondragon after his sweet TSL play.

MC was going 4gate but got cold feet once white-ra moved out with his units to the watchtower where MC's units were. MC probably thought White-Ra was 4gating as well, which means that it would have been a disaster if MC tried to force his way in. However, White-Ra wasn't 4-gating so the result was what you saw.

And hats off to July who saved the day for Korea with some dominating victories. I love his style and decision making. He had amazing variety in his play, and great reading skills, despite his rep as being "aggressive".

You could not give MVP a win for that. I don't think he would've gotten a win in TSL with this. There is no 95% win chance.

Maybe at the height of his powers idrA was better, but he only practices 5-6 hours a day now reportedly, and he certaintly doesn't make up for it with strategic brilliance or unpredictability. MorroW definitely wouldn't have lost to cruncher, thats all i can say about that.
