[NASL] Players (final) - Page 20
Forum Index > StarCraft 2 Tournaments |
Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied. Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't.

TL , DR its just very important to keep the production value for everything you do , and not only the main part , look at successfull companys like blizzard or apple and their finish on their product , the pre show is very important , i do hope that the NASL will show improvment on thier preshow look on TSL again for a good example thank you for the long read, and goolduck with the really nice project. You whine on about the importance of presentation but seem to be miss the hypocrisy. Look forward to seeing the full groups.

(everything else is great so far ;-) )

You realize TSL D2 this weekend had ~50k viewers while live, right? And only 1 Korean played that particular day.

Look forward to seeing the full groups. he is not running around telling people he will create the biggest and best NA SC2 competitive experience though. he is just some random guy posting on forum board in his spare time. NASL.tv has done a lousy job "managing expectations". This should not come as much of a surprise because they've acknowledged they have no experience in this area. They probably would've been better off being a key sponsor at an IEM or MLG event. Then allowing an organization with a proven track record of consistent success run the show. Only time will tell though. Events like TSL, IEM, MLG and GSL are well run and will continue to move eSports forward whether or not the NASL succeeds.

So Ace>moon But Ace=CodeA And Idra= CodeS However Squirtle> Idra And Moon>Squirtle So it's logical to assume that CodeA>CodeS. Your logic doesn't seem very logical :s I got another one: Moon>Squirtle At IEM Squirtle>mvp in GSTL Conclusion: Moon > mvp So if Moon is better than a former GSL champion he should obviously be invited? ![]() Why the fuck do people bitch so much about these invites? You can't have an absolute list of the 50 most deserving players since it is a very subjective thing, but can anyone honestly say any of the 15 names announced aren't at least in the top 70 of the players that applied? And if you claim they aren't feel free to list the 69 players who are clearly better.

Look at those lists so far, I can honestly say that of those players, every single one would be in my top 100 players in the world list (except maybe cruncher). You can't expect NASL to get literally the top 50 players in the world playing. And do you guys really think every top korean progamer applied? I mean many of them don't speak a lick of english, so it's pretty hard to make an application video in english... And sometimes it isn't about who is most deserving. A lot of this has to do with who the fans want to see. And I can guarantee you more fans want to see Moon play than someone like Ace. Like if Day[9] were to apply. He would probably get in because of his popularity. But I doubt he is anywhere close to the top 50 worldwide. But would you really complain if Day[9] was competing?

Just check the application video thread, a ton of ogs/slayers/FOX/startale players applied.

I see no problem with this guy making a post about the importance of presentation.
