[NASL] Players (final) - Page 18

Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied.

Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't.

ill reserve judgment on the list until its complete but so far I'm not really thrilled unless they started with the 'meh' aside from a few like IdrA of course.

Should have just announced all 50 at once really. These little teaser segments are going to cause backlash each time people see players they don't perceive to be worthy of a spot, over their favourites. Even I find some invites underwhelming. It's already obvious that a lot of superior players have been overlooked for whatever reason. The last 35 is going to need to be 100% world class players to actually make good of the promise of "the best players the world has ever seen".

I'm especially interested in seeing the rest of the NA invites. I can't even think of 15-20 credible invites from that region, no disrespect intended.

I think these are some pretty good invites.

Moon - top WC3 player, did very well at IEM
Fenix - Made TSL3, pretty strong Terran IMO
Kiwi - top protoss in NA quite possibly
QXC - dude is a beast, just needs to make sure to get practice time in which I imagine he will. Before he went to Europe for school he hit the top of the NA ladder I believe.
DarkForce - one of Europe's top Zerg's
Cruncher - In TSL3, been owning "The V", has been on top of NA ladder I believe
KawaiiRice - Very good NA Terran, solid builds and I think he keeps getting better
Haypro - Who on TL doesn't belong in this, seriously. Just won the Pax East posting wins over Tyler and TLO
Naniwa - top Euro protoss, definitely belongs. He has been playing really well as of late too
SeleCT - top NA Terran, obvious choice
HasuObs - been really impressed with his play lately, just took down Huk too
Catz - a lot of people seem to be questioning this, but he is a very talented and creative Zerg player. Mass queens in the NASL? Yes please. Also a fan favorite
Idra - one of the best Zergs in the world, obvious choice
Socke - great protoss from Europe, always impressed with his play
ClouD - has been posting some very nice results as of late. Not as familiar with him, but can't argue with what he's been doing lately.

To me the obvious choices were: Idra, Socke, SeleCT, HasuObs, Haypro, Naniwa, QXC, Moon, and Kiwi.

The rest are still really good choices that will give us some great games and definitely hold their own.

You agree with them until you find out who they had to leave out for these to be in. I guess we just have to wait and see, but it will be a damn shame if fan-favorites like artosis/grubby is left out=[

After watching the video of artosis on wcg usa finals, quitting his job each year to practice starcraft. How does he not deserve another shot. Im sure his skill level is atleast equal to alot of these invites, and would have a huge following.

Well thank you for making your opinion into mine... I think all of those players are smart choices. No matter who is chosen, players are going to be left out, there has to be a cut off at some point. I am perfectly ok with those guys being in over some top Koreans. Why? Because I think all 15 of those players will give us some great games. And I realize people will be left out, no matter who is in the league.

Let's have them announce all 50 players before we talk about people being left out right now. People are already saying shit like how can Haypro be in over someone else in TL, most likely, they all are in it (except Huk and Jinro who didn't seem to apply).

And also people keep saying what are these guys results in sc2 and then advocate that Artosis needs to be in NASL. Artosis is awesome and would be great in the NASL, but where are his sc2 results? Some people really need to think before they post.

the Teams have already got the lists of the players who have made the NASL.

Hopefully Minigun Sheth and TLO made it.

Moon, KiWiKaKi, QXC, KawaiiRice, Haypro, Naniwa, SeleCT, HasuObs (like seriously after the weekend I hope people give him more dues), and IdrA are all solid picks in my book. The rest I don't know enough about but that is probably because I am only a mid-level follower of SC2. That and we still have many many more to go.

I dunno why so many people are hating on the list - particularly when it is incomplete.

Am I the only one baffled by HayprO being included? What exactly has this guy accomplished besides going out of 2 GSL's 0-2?

Solid list.

Can't argue with any of these picks. I agree with everyone besides being unsure about: Cruncher, Cloud, Darkforce, and Catz. Cruncher won a TL open and therefore is in the TSL as well as he won several weekly tourneys. Catz is such a cool guy but I haven't seen him win much, he's a must for any tourney though! And Cloud + Darkforce, haven't seen much from them - so time will tell.

It's because I could name 50 players who are better than half the list, which means some of those 50 won't be included. It sucks, but that's why a lot of people are bashing the list as it is.

Another part of it has to do with the fact that only one Korean is on the list out of 15 announced, and he's not even considered a top Korean. There was a surveyr done and the vast majority of people wanted to see the best players, even if that meant NASL being all Korean, rather than just popular Western players.

Ill be happy if they get like 6-7 more Top koreans.

MC is definitely going to get picked. His cockiness and confidence guarantee him a place in NASL.

CrunCher made it into tsl3... not sure why people question his spot in NASL

If he does well in TSL three that merits an invite, winning a small tournament however(not in terms of numbers small i know it was 1024) but its defenetly not a tournament with alot of prestige like the actual TSL, id like to see people that have placed well in MLG's IEM's dreamhack, etc not people who have done well in the 20 dollar weekly tournaments. I want superstars

between korea, EU and NA it shouldnt be too hard to find 50 people who have placed top 8 tournaments of note or prestige. (or just anyone in code s and the top of code a in the GSL)
i dont want to see more than 15-18 koreans and i undserstand moon as he placed second at IEM but still there are defenetly 15 korean players better than moon

Moon? I know he's good with warcraft, but he's just a code A drop-out. Please invite current top GSL code S. That's what exciting. Don't invite pass legends. Invite current top players!

Yeah he didn't just beat a whole bunch of EU and NA stars at IEM.... Oh wait. Definitely worthy of an invite, and helps hype the tournament.
