Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied. Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't. |

If you read the last few pages of the thread, you would see that Root already had 5 members accepted. Minigun has the least lan experience and notoriety among them. QXC left ROOT tho before half the invites were announced, and LAN exprienence should not determine who gets into (half)online/(half)LAN tourneys when the game doesn't even have a LAN mode... It doesn't matter that it was only half way through the invites. It's not like they're deciding the next five each day. They already had everyone picked from the applicants before they made the first post. You can always make exceptions... its bad business by the NASL to not.. considering the 5 per team rule was removed in the 1st place(but still being enforced....) This honestly is a Joke. There are more than a few people on this list of 50 i wouldn't even have in the top 200 of SC2 atm, Yet they are in the NASL... Only like 3?Vibe/dde/moman This is almost perfect imo these are the players on the list who should not be included. Fenix Vibe Grubby I could say Incontrol also but considering he is basically running the NASL he is getting a free invite.I could also say a few more players I'm less familiar with but because i have no clue who they are or their credentials i'll leave them out of this post. Incontrol does not run the NASL. That is like saying Artosis runs the GSL. Incontrol is the caster for NASL and has done some marketing/hype for it. He got into the league from a combination of his skill and popularity.
So you're saying InControL has absolutely no say in how the NASL is run. Seems kinda contradictory to what I've read. That said, it doesn't matter too much. He won't make it to the second season unless he's been really training recently. Not sure how much effort he can give to it if he has any responsibilities with getting the league going.

with goody and boxer, my 2 favourite players are in the NASL. cant wait for the actual matches to start. i'm glad it's such a balanced cast of players, featuring players from many different regions with many different playstyles. may the best one win. (I seriously hope that the production quality is actually decent though)

wow group 4 is ridiculous darkforce stated that he is happy with incontrol being in the group and he is probalbly right about this because incontrol isnt as strong as either of the players in this group but i really think that he dindnt read the rest of the group because its just so insane even MC is in it o.O
|
I was just looking over the divisions, and hats off to whoever did them.
The masterful spread of players made me a little excited. I like random spreads in most tourneys, but the insane spreading of players by country is nice. All while maximizing grudge matches etc... Bravo.

tbh, I'm a fan of having Koreans in this tournament, but this is to many to be fair for foreigners. I think having MC, Nestea, Mvp, and maybe July are enough. This is too many.
I feel bad for the foreign players.

yes im also kind of sad that demuslim and dimaga arnt there, when darkforce, vibe incontrol and grubby are there ...

They removed the five member cap, so all of that is irrelevant. Minigun didn't make it for some other reason.
Since all the decent competition won't be in the Open or NSQ he will get through for sure if he wants to.

nice choice, but im a little bit sad bomber and dimaga didnt got in

Artosis, Grubby, ViBe (lol??), Incontrol, Moman, dde.
i could find better players asap.
+ i think its NASL fault that dimagas "official" application was late - dont the someone as professional as dimaga wouldnt do it in time if he just KNEW early enough, that vid =/= official
€: Demuslim not in is the biggest LOL of all time.
It's the player's responsibility to get the application in on time. There are plenty of players, both domestic and foreign that were able to do so. It's his own fault for missing the deadline. I agree that Demuslim probably would have been good to include though especially if they indeed did remove the 5 player cap per team since EG already had 5.

Aside from those two guys the rest of the picks are great =D Supernova and Min haven't achieved anything, while Ensnare has been, arguably, a top terran since beta and been consistently in GSL

He didn't apply afaik.
Kind of dissapointed in Grubby/Incontrol over Minigun as foreign protosses. I guess I can understand their history coming into play in the decision, but I would've liked to see how Mini would do in a league like this.

dont put darkforce in a group with those guys, he'd roflstomp each of them, rly...
Group 5 by far the strongest groupk, group 1 slightly weaker then 2-4. Decent lineups, stil some questionable nominations and missing players.

I feel bad for the foreign players. why because the koreans are dominating the TSL... oh wait...
but they dominated the world team in the GSL WC rig.... oh 8-7...
Well in the last FXOpen the koreans ki... wait, you mean that most of the top koreans were knocked out early-ish and a lot of NA/EU players made it far (ex. ROOTbritany)
The korans aren't that far ahead of everyone... they just haven't been playing vs foreigners very often for us to see just how equal the skill distribution really is.

Ok wow, MC's and IdrA's division are packed yo. Will also be looking forward to Grubby and WhiteRa owning their group up big time. But why no love for Dimaga Oh well...there is always next time.

Shot his application video in the hospital with Rotterdam.

I wouldn't be too concerned about DeMuslim not being in the league. Last I heard, he was having some unexpected problems with his elbow and this may have caused him to withdraw his application?

Lol, NASL's fault that dimaga didnt apply in time? its not their job to babysit all players. And nobody else seemed to have a problem submitting application on time. Demuslim not coming in, unless there is a good reason for it though, is completely ridiculous. I can understand some of the less accomplished not that great players who might still deserve a place according to some people (like minigun) does not get in, because then its really a toss up. But DeMusliM is easily one of the best european players, his TLPD ELO is 6th (Which is worldwide, but obv favors nonkoreans) And has been a huge name in the scene ever since beta, consistently having high placements in tournaments. Was sure he was a lock for one of the last spots.

I thought Artosis was Zerg?
