Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied.

Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't.

Well with the list filled out almost completely, you definitely can't argue with the international spread the tournament has. All major gaming regions are represented by at least one, if not three or four players. I still hope the last five will be mostly Korean however, as no one can argue they are the top region in skill - not to say the other regions can't take games off them (and the skill gap seems to be slowly closing).

I really feel like this is saying, "If MorroW, Kas, Sen, GoOdy, and qxc aren't in the GSL, I won't support it!!". Look, the NASL is aiming to put a lot of money into North American Starcraft 2. I can completely understand if you would rather watch the GSL because it has all the Koreans you want. Personally, I think the skill gap between Korea and The World is quite small (here's to hoping Korea vs World proves me right tonight). But to say you don't support something that is really putting tons of money into the NA SC2 scene and doing its best to spurn interest in the game you love by providing free-to-watch matches at a high level 5 days a week? That just seems so cold to me. I am sorry I am not trying to single you out, it just seems like everyone who is completely denouncing the NASL is just being cold to those who are trying to spread the word. Sure, this season may not contain the likes of MC, BoxeR, or July but look at the first GSL. It is tough to make the comparison (not many players were known back then) but it was still extremely exciting and it didn't have MC, BoxeR, NaDa, or July. My advice is this, just give it a couple seasons to let the good rise up and the bad fall out, and give some support to the people who are trying to make SC2 eSports a better place!

Hopefully a few players I like such as Masterasia or Minigun make it, but with all this talent and so many good players left, it might be a stretch. Happy that ViBe made it; good player that's not very well known. Congrats to Artosis too!

Yo guys, all the players who missed out can still go into the open tournament and possibly make it into the offline portion anyway....

...and to those guys saying Koreans aren't in MLG, that is by choice as MLG is not an invitational, and they are still welcome to participate like they can in NASL, in the open portion of the tournament.

By your logic every tournament that doesn't have koreans in it is worthless. Koreans are good, but they aren't the end all be all of starcraft 2. MLG is extremely competative and a perfectly good meterstick for results.

Obviously since there werent koreans in MLG when incontrol competed diminishes the value of this "accomplishment" of barely coming top16 since it was a lot less competitive than it could have been - NASL will have koreans and some of the greatest players from all over the world making it even harder. HuK confirmed on stream today that supernova isn't getting in for sure.. so someone who can goto the Code A Finals doesn't deserve a spot over incontrol, who has done what?... that's all i am saying. It's without a doubt bias decision making. Regardless, I am sure NASL will turn out to be quite a success regardless. Just not quite as great as it could have been. If NASL wanted to give the impression that this was the worlds absolute best competing for a large prize pool, they've already failed. If i remember correctly, their hype video even stated "the greatest players the world has ever seen", cmon now, really?.... no.

Wow if boxer and Nada MC Morrow arent in it tommoro im gonna be choked. How can they justify inviting artosis grubby (obviously a popularity thing) and then not invite BOXER! or nada even, that would be ridiculous and i dont think i would be too happy to support the NASL if this happens to be the way they make decisions either way seems like some people will be left out no way to invite Kas July , MC, Morrow, Nada, Boxer. thats one too many meaning one of those people will be for sure left out and im sure more will be left out that im not thinking of, obviously some will be left out, but not inviting boxer would be madness after seeing the players they have invited (some are defenetly based on popularity not acheivments) and boxers acheivments are extensive , even in sc2 he made it to the round of 4 in gsl season 2.

Edit:Ugh and incontrol why is he even in this , his ladder ranking has dropped 100 ranks since he announced the NASL clearly he doesnt have as much time to practice anymore and hes gonna be super busy anyways, you cant have your cake and eat it too. lol

Yea ive been complaining about incontrol getting invited since they announced the league cuz i knew for sure they were going to invite him, he has 0 impressive acheivments and it is obviously a biased decision i feel like machine got a free pass as well no real acheivments yet he got invited because hes on eg and is associated with the people running the tournament.
They promised they would be objective with the invites =/

Some great names for sure and I won't complain if some names I want in won't get in because I know the choices must've been so hard.

I do think that you should give the community an explanation though if top players like DeMusliM, MorroW and ThorZain doesn't get in but some noname scrubs like dde and Vibe does. I mean foreign top players.

See, that's what I have the biggest issue with. It really boggles my mind how having incontrol in the tourney vs. supernova is even fair :/

Some of you koreaboos are just ridiculous. You act like any tournament without all the "top" koreans is just another tournament for nobodies and isn't going to be any good.

You keep on crying because you won't be able to see two of your precious GSL champions get man-handled by "no names" and then blame it on the lag again, and you won't get to see nada one base all-in and fail again. Would players like July and MC be able to bring quality games to NASL? You bet your ass they would. If they don't get invited is it a good reason to ignore the tournament all together? Hell no. These foreigners are starting to prove that they are just as good, if not better than a lot, as the koreans. If your favorite player doesn't get an invite, you can cheer them on in the open tournament and hope they get at least top 8 for the next season if they don't get that one spot.

People are bashing this tournament into the ground already before its even started, why don't you guys just sit back and enjoy the show because guaranteed there are going to be amazing games throughout this tournament whether or not ANY of the last invites are korean. I'm seriously tired of some of the borderline xenophobic thought processes of "If it ain't korean it ain't good". A lot of the "top" koreans got special invites to the TSL and now I'm willing to bet a good amount of money that it won't be a korean crowned the TSL3 champion, and I have a feeling it would be the same for the NASL.

Theres a few players where it boggles my mind that they would choose them over top koreans, i mean ill hold judgement for tommoro, but based on their decisions already it seems that some of the players they chose for the sole puprose of popularity (artosis grubby) but then if they turn around and dont invite Boxer MC, Nada i would be shocked and astonished, although morrow, Kas still left out i would be kind of choked if all the last invites werent top koreans, since we see no top koreans in the tournament yet (we see good ones but not the best of the best, and well boxer just because he is esports)

Because skill isn't the only factor and they've been clear about this. Not only is InControl one of the founders of the league he also is a very big name. That's why he's in it and similar reasons for Grubby and Artosis. Because they're famous.

Reserve your judgement until after the GSLWC tonight , and nada's one base all in was only because he lost that banshee TT1 had his base up way sooner and if nada tried to expand he just would have been way behind he was relying on that banshee to do some damage and when it didnt he went for an all in. Its best of 1's anyways wait until the real tournament best of 1's dont really prove much although team leagues are fun as hell to watch, i mean if TT1 beats 2 more people than obviously that is impressive in fact it already is impressive that he won 2 games, but honestly i think nada would beat him in a best of 3 but i guess well just have to wait and see what happens at the real tournament or at least to see who wins the team league tonight
