So sure, he may never miss an SCV, but that's not the most efficient way to macro at all. This may be better than Rain's macro, but it's far from un-perfectible (is that even a word?) Edit : On a sidenote, does anyone know what Genius' ceremony meant? It was awesome, but pretty weird too ![]()

Not really any more volatile than BW, considering mvp isn't an established bonjwa, and even if he was... the established S-class players in BW get knocked out of the individual leagues quite regularly. It is the lack of a team-league which really means that you only get one stage to show your abilities (which BW has) and if you play poorly or are in a slump you kind of disappear for a month.

I think he's just fooling around, making fun of his old comment.

MVP in Code A? Whaaaaaaaaaat? Holy shit. I can't believe it. Seriously, am I understanding correctly? MVP? Code A? Oh well. MVP for Code A winner, at least.

What really hurt him was his predictable builds. He used almost the exact same early game build in every single game. Protoss players have learned to take advantage of supposedly "safe" Terran quick expansion builds through a combination of early game pressure into expansion + tech, resulting in Terrans not being able to stop Colossi attacks. At this moment, there is no build in existence, in any match-up, that allows you to apply early pressure, defend against early pressure, get tech relatively early, and get an expansion relatively early, all at the same time.

PvT: 18-8 (69.2%) GSL Damn, terran is struggling really bad. Is it because of the maps? Really I don't think there have been alot of games where amulet got into play. How can the maps have such a great impact on the games. What makes a larger map so bad for terran against protoss? I still do extremely fine against protoss on ladder. MVP made some awfull decisions in his games. ![]() ![]()

Phoenix is easily the best air-opening in the game (imo) and the phoenix opening is better and safer on a larger map. I think the % of games that were won by early stim timing pushes and other early attacks on the smaller maps are enough to balance those stats out.

It allows the Protoss to put on pressure regardless of map size. However, Terrans cannot retaliate on larger maps due to travel distance. This allows the Toss to have the option to power econ (with no threat of punishment) or to pressure while the Terran's only option is to play defense.
