*loses hope in humanity* Joking aside, there is NO legitimate reason for TWO best of three matches to cause a new wave of whining in the forums. MVP was a shadow of his GSL4 self yesterday, and no one intelligent would debate that. I don't know whether it was his loss to Squirtle in the GSTL (he looked crushed after that) or his recent decline in the ladder rankings that started it, but he's clearly on tilt. Get over it, things like this happen. Something gets stuck in your mind, and you can't get over it for a while. Look up David Duval (golf) for an example of this. Duval came very close to overtaking Tiger Woods in the world golf rankings, and this was when Tiger was in his prime, as opposed to the inconsistent player that he is today! Noone knows what happened, but this guy can barely make the top 100 on the money list now. IIRC, he had to go back to Q school once. MVP will be fine. He'll get back to Code S next season, and will be a contender from then on. For crying out loud, why do people scream imbalance after every loss these days? | ||

I remember watching a match recently between Alicia and MVP on Tal'Darim, but Alicia won. Alicia spawned 8 o'clock, MVP 2 o'clock. Alicia opens up with 3 gate aggression into 3 gate expand. Later on he also gets blink/colossus (i don't remember order), and ends up with like 3 armor 1 attack at the end of the game. Tastosis were really pointing out how well leveling up armor against Terran works for Protoss. Towards the end two Colossi were sent back home, while the rest of the army went ahead to harass. MVP saw the Colussi and tried to pick them off but didn't micro well enough to catch up. Alicia had a bunch of sentries the whole game, many of them surviving from each fight. Anyone remember this match?  I was sure it was the up/down matches! But here it says MVP won Tal'Darim. | ||
