It's more about the gas cost and it looked like MorroW could've afforded to pump out quite a few infestors and still be very safe. And I mean not to sprint for the higher tech but to gradually get it which was a mistake that MorroW did. He basically stayed on roach / hydra / corruptor the entire game, even in the late game which is when your infestors, greater spire or ultra den should be able to be put into good use. I didn't pay that much attention to the games, but's how I feel about it. True he could have tried to tech up more slowly. I personally think there's still a lot of compositions and transitions to explore as well as drop play and nydus worms. I would assume players have experimented with slowly teching up by now and still feel roach hydra is stronger. Either that or roach hydra works against players that can't throw down force fields, position their army, and micro like MC so they just haven't felt the need to try different strats. Interesting I don't think we have an answer for this now. Hopefully in the coming months we'll see something different from zergs because with the current strategies are causing cries of imbalance on every single tournament thread.Anyways congrats to MC just from watching his last two matchups it's hard to see any mistakes in his gameplay and i feel he deserves to win the tourney.

people saying you need skill to use them make the the illustrious TL community look retarded. nevertheless morrow was stuck in midgame for way too long and didn't use his small midgame window to trade armies/deny MCs 3rd. really looking forward to see ZvP evolve with heavy infestor play *keeping fingers crossed*

Others like to cheese. What if playing risky is MC style of play. Why tell someone that their style is not good because its risky. That is saying that you know what style people should play if they want to win tournaments. MC has won tourneys with his style. So he is going to continue to play it. Don't say his play is bad when it works for him.

I'm at work and I would like to know what's going on in Copenhagen without reading about your opinion on forcefields or on how bad a player is. Is it really that hard to respect the players that are competing for money without complaining? I'm not directing this at you personally, but let's change the negative attitude that's been going on here for the past 50 pages. Reallllly hard to enjoy matches when the negativity in this thread sucks out any hype you had for the matchups

Basically his build looked like -- Get 3 Base -- Play greedy. -- Mass Roach -- Max out -- Build stockpile -- Attack -- Remax on Roach -- Win or lose because your massively behind on tech. Might have worked on a lesser protoss but MC's macro was spot on. It also didn't help that MC played a defensive 3 base/reactive style. Good simcity stopped alot of Roach harass. MC's upgrades were always equal or very slightly behind Morrow's even with morrow massive eco advantage. Morrow didn't even try to deny the third or slow letting MC's eco catch up while morrow stayed passive macroing/building a stockpile. MC's double robo let him crank out immortals and Morrow let him build up 5-6 immortals each engagement. Each time Morrow tried to Hydra, well controlled colossus killed them all with gateway force tanking. Feels like Morrow never had a chance the way he decided to play.
